How many nights has it been since he checked on the god? How many times did those last few words play in his head? Tiresias laid his head against the wooden chair, trying to remember. Lack of sleep dulled his mind and his own abilities. The blind seer counted himself lucky that he couldn’t see himself in his current state. A stranger’s gasp not withstanding when he was trying to distract himself.
It proved to be a challenge when he knew Bacchus laid in bed. The seer grabbed the other’s hand, trying to feel something. Anything to make sure he was still-Tiresias didn’t dare finish his thought. Tiresias gasped when he felt the god’s fingers curl. Could it be? The seer leaned a bit closer.
“Bacchus?” He whispered. “Are you awake?”
