"do you think gaara would want something nice for the holidays?" he asks while they glue cut-out snowflakes to a poster board; the younglings liked to pretend it snowed in the desert around this time of year, "he has never cared much for material items, but i would like to get him something that lets him know i think of him always!" For all the international holidays that were being integrated to some extent into Suna, this was her favorite. Hands down. Gifts for everyone-- wrapped in an endless array of colorful paper and fun designs. Decorations of snow and snowflakes. Cookies in all shapes and sizes-- even a three dimensional cookie house! So there was really only one answer to that question.
“Of course!” Karura vigorously nodded her head, “I feel he would love anything that comes from you--- and not just for the thought of it.” She finished the little snowflake she was cutting up, finally getting the hang of which shapes look nice.
“But because you know him. And because there will be so much love in the---” she laughed, because really love was the best present, wasn’t it? “Sometimes you can tuck that love into something they can hold and that makes everything extra special.”
