Dr. Baizhu | ????? | Healer/Merchant
The player first meets Baizhu when he offers to sell them healing items-- as well as acting as a field medic, he also sells, herbs, first aid sprays, and med kits.
What is this guy doing in Spain, anyway? How much does he know about what's actually going on?
Turns out he's here for his own purposes-- on top of being a healer, he's done his fair share of research into bioweapons. And he wants to get his hands on one-- specifically one that can help him cure his illness and find immortality.
In his search, he took in a young girl that's, well... actually a bioweapon herself. Even though she's undead, he's promised that he won't let anything happen to her.
(The player is unable to harm Qiqi in any way, and if they try, Baizhu will instantly become aggressive toward them.)
Item List:
Ornate Dagger
Med Kit
Mixed Herbs
Field Journal/Research Notes
First Aid Spray
Flash Drive Containing Totally-Not-Stolen Information
Mysterious Key
Emblem (Right Half) (Can be traded to the player in exchange for a favor. What? You need it for a puzzle? Better come back with what he needs!)
@spiderstaff sent "Switcheroo!" to redesign your muse as if they were from my muse's universe
Kay is an elf who was born in Heimdall, who was raised at first by her grandfather. Even among the elves he wasn’t much of a friendly type though, and she lived more on the outskirts of town.
When she was still young, her grandfather decided to give her a ‘test’ to see if she’d been training properly. This resulted in Kay accidentally falling through the portal at the Otherworldly Gate into Sylvarant, still just a child.
Being a kid completely alone in a new world, Kay quickly resorted to stealing to get by. She eventually made her way to Asgard by sneaking into the back of caravans, deciding to hide out in an abandoned home.
Or rather, it looked abandoned at first! But it actually belonged to a human couple who were just moving in.
They aren’t sure where this kid came from, but they’re also not gonna kick her out. She didn’t really stick around much at first, but once she realized it was safe (and they’d give her free food), she came back more often. She was pretty quickly adopted.
When the worlds were reunited, she finally told her dads the truth about where she came from. They offered to help her go and look for her family in Tethe’alla.
They did travel the world together for a while, but Kay decided she was happier staying with her new dads. Eventually they made their way back to Asgard, and she’s started making new friends there.
Still a total pickpocket though. It’s a habit and she’s good at it. Emil meets her when she lifts some gald off him.
send me “switcheroo!” and i’ll redesign your muse as if they were from my muse’s universe @gleamknight said:
Switcheroo :eyes:
When Vaati petrified the king in secret and began posing as him publicly, there were people among the nobility who weren’t fooled. Most believed that the king’s change was brought on by his desperation to save his daughter, Zelda- but a handful of them could recognize the gleam in his eye for what it was.
Of those people, all but one were easily silenced with threats against their lives. Zelos was either too brave or too foolish- hard to tell, really- but he attempted to confront the “king” in private.
Unfortunately, for all his skill with a blade, there was little he could do against a sorcerer with an all-powerful wishing cap. He was one of the collection of people who were turned to stone long before the rest of the castle’s inhabitants, hidden away in the dungeons until Link and Zelda could restore peace to Hyrule.
