Though life had become so much more complicated since he’d decided to move back to England permanently, Charlie happier than he ever thought possible. The man always been committed to his work, life had seemed complete, and it was, he’d been genuinely happy, but since he’d met Harriet he’d realised that happiness could be expanded upon, and despite all the worry that came with the two of them being together, it was worth it. However, seen as the announcement of the pregnancy had caused fear that the Redeemer’s might make a move at any moment, Charlie hadn’t been able to prioritise seeing his friends, so as soon as he felt like things were safer he reached out to Oliver.
Charlie walked into the Three Broomsticks, it was quieter than the Leaky Cauldron and he appreciated that, spotting Oliver on one of the stalls at the bar. “Long time, no see,” he commented with a grin, patting the other on the back. “I can’t even tell you the last time I came here.”
