Ah yes a fresh lemon; what was Ryuji cgoing to do with it? Previously something that had to do with dinner but it seems he’s forgotten it in favor of something absolutely ridiculous.

He licks the freshly cut lemon and cringed before moaning.

“Ooh~ Lémon~”

He passes it to Ann who, surprisingly, decides to partake in this. She does the same, her face scrunching up.

“Oo! 𝔩é𝔪𝔬𝔫~”

It again is passed to Rin, who unsprisingly repeats.

“Oooh~ 𝕝é𝕞𝕠𝕟”

“I know, I just...” he mumbled, trailing off as he mumbled to himself blushing. As she took his hand gently he gave her hand a firm squeeze as he rested his head ontop of hers with the likeliness of a dog resting its chin on its owners knee.

Her hand felt so right in his own; his first, real, best friend..now his girlfriend. They’ve been through a lot together, seen and done many things in the name of justice. Hell, they even died and came back to take down a god; there was no way to describe how close they were.

So why was he feeling so anxious...?

He lifted his head, to keep walking from turning into a tangled mess of legs and hitting the pavement, and raised their hands to kiss the back of Akira’s.

“I’m real damn lucky t’have ya, y’know...? Sometimes I wonder where I’d be if I didn’t meet ya...or what’ll happen if we have to be apart.”
