「巫女」::The girl had been pretty proud of her snow made accomplishment...lopsided as it was...with an indistinguishable face and no discernable-anything...It rather did look like just a lump... But she still had no idea if her sister was joking, actually throwing shade, or genuinely didn’t know...

                   She was inclined to lean toward joking--because well--it was her elder sister~And Kikyou would never intentionally say something like that, and she couldn’t quite see herself how it looked like a pile of lumpy packed snow. At the moment. Though all the same she couldn’t help but be a bit miffed by the question~! Even though it was quite evident that no one in their right minds would be able to tell What the monstrosity she’d packed together actually was...

                  The younger girl had no talent as a sculptor at all...That was quite obvious~!::

                                                                                                                    “Well, yeah. What else would it be? Why? What’s wrong with it?”

                ::Maybe she was open to constructive criticism? Or maybe she’d be open to help or advice to make it not look so much like an amorphous lump? Only one way to find out~!!::

「巫女」::                                                                                      ”Wise words, Onee-sama....Though there are those decisions that you don’t regret making as well~No matter what happens as a result of them. 

                                                                                                                           “‘Sides, we can’t really sit there and dwell on the ‘what ifs‘ anyway, can we? It’s best to go out and face the consequences of the decision made-and either accept it, learn from it and move on--or do something to rectify whatever it caused. Right?”

                 ::She tilted her head at her sister, and smiled a bit placing her hand on her shoulder, not even really considering that perhaps, maybe, Kikyou was telling her this as a lesson for something she’d decided to do...

                    She wasn’t thinking that at all, she just figured her elder sister was giving her one of her tid-bits of life-lessons...That or she thought perhaps Kikyou was trying to explain the reason she looked so down and out at the moment. Maybe Kikyou had chosen a regrettable decision....and if that was the case....::

                  Damn. Now what?

                  Tell the truth and pull the innocent card? Lie? Pretend she didn’t hear her?

                  Come on, girl, think fast~! You only have a few seconds to answer!::

                                                                                               “Show you--? Oh~! OH that! Uh....Why would you want to see it? It’s not very good looking...”

               ::Oh yes. Great deflection. Pat yourself on the back for that one...Her mind dripped with inner sarcasm...But-well--she was up against a wall and--she didn’t want to lie--but she didn’t want to tell the truth either! And she was certain that her sister wouldn’t want to hear a lie...So-she just didn’t say one....! 

                 Under normal circumstances she’d consider that quite clever...But faced against her older sister: Well...there was only one way to find out how this would go...She grit her teeth and prepared for a lecture.::

「巫女」::The middle sister gave a -moderately blank look at her elder sister as she came at her with a vague accusation...She had done a lot of things that KIkyou-Onee might want her to come clean about...But she didn’t want to reveal that to her sister! No way jose! Even she had her pride~! Or was it fear...? 

                  Either way-letting her sister know that there were quite a few things that she might want her to come clean about was a no-go. So she’d have to get her to be more specific in a beating about the bush kind of way~Since she’d just come at her with that--and no further explanation.

                  She popped a piece of toast in her mouth and blinked, gearing to look as innocent as she possibly could manage, and sat back a little looking genuinely confused. At least she didn’t have to pretend the confusion part....That would sell it better~::

                                                                                                                              “Come clean about what now....? What did I supposedly do...?”

「巫女」:: The green girl made a bit of a face. She knew she was still technically a student to using reiryouku, but she didn’t think it was fair to be sidelined when she could probably help.::

                                                                                                           “I’m not necessarily concerned. I know you can handle it...But--I rather think-this would be good training for me...Or at least--I can be there to take care of the kids if the youkai tries to use them against you again. So you can focus on the youkai.

                                                                                                           “Going back to my friends isn’t exactly being helpful~ and I know I can be~!”

               ::She gave one of those confident smiles that didn’t reach her eyes, but looked forced-for like a photo. But she meant her words anyway~!::

                                                                                                                    ”I know I’ve called you sister, friend, teacher, lovely pain in my butt...And all those are true...Is there something I said you were that you aren’t?”

                ::There could have been~! And she just wasn’t remembering. But she was pretty sure-there wasn’t...She sat there for a moment and wracked her brain for what she could have said Kikyou was that would prompt her to say that. But she couldn’t think of anything, and so looked back at her, her brows knitted up to await her answer.::

「巫女」:: FIVE splats hit her...In rapid succession...She was bombarded! The cold icy water snaked down her collar making her shiver compulsively, as she whipped around to see who had thrown 5 snowballs at her! 

                 She expected to see someone, perhaps laughing, or dodging just out of sight to create another barrage-what she didn’t expect to see was Kikyou doing-well- both of those things! Though stunned as she was--she grinned. She wasn’t going to let this go unanswered!::

                                                                                                 “Oh it’s ON Kikyou~! The game is afoot!”

               ::She ducked down beside one of the huts-to keep herself at least a bit covered from any further attack, and started to make her own pile of cold balls~! She’d smack the scarlet miko with them the next opportunity she got! If it was a snowball fight she wanted-that’s exactly what she’d get!

                Finishing s small arsenal, she scooped them up and nosed around the side of the hut.::

                                                                                                “Kikyou~u! Come out, come out where ever you aa~re!”

「巫女」:: The little green miko had been through a lot...She’d lost a battle--and a friend--and her body was beaten, bloody and bruised and her spirit was as near broken as it had ever been...She was exhausted and depressed, and yet extremely worked up at the same time...So much so that she’d been unable to cry and grieve for the loss of her friend’s life...

                    If she’d been all there-she likely would have been surprised that it was Kikyou that had found her-but as it was, she was barely registering the scarlet miko’s presence, never mind her voice... When she looked up as the elder miko said she should eat something-it was like her gaze was looking right through and past her, her split lip, black eye and multiple face lacerations were made plainly visible-but she still seemed to answer...in a ghost of a voice...::

                                                                              “...Eat...what...? Will--it turn back time...? Bring...them back...? Will..eating something...give me--the ability...to...redo that--fight...?”

                  ::She turned her gaze to the sky, and drew in a ragged forced breath. She had no idea how she was still alive after that...And perhaps she was feeling survivor’s guilt...Because why was she still alive...and her friend dead?? It didn’t make any sense to her.::
