For the last two years while my transition was in the awkward middle stages I was animal sidekicks. For this year I have a Princess Peach costume with all the trimmings waiting and a party to go to tonight. Laura and our friend are doing coordinating costumes.

I'm not sure this was a good idea. Maybe it's a mistake to go full princess right out of the gate. What if I look like a joke? What if I look like a dude in a princess costume *as* a joke?
