It's rather ironic that Winter didn't get the maiden powers last season finale because she was the right hand man for Ironwood, they were going to use it to defend themselves from Salem, but no they had to write it that she was in the wrong and the old lady gave it to a robot.

So when Winter realized her "mistake" that working for someone like Ironwood was him basically a heartless military man ( which I take personal insult to because I have many family members that were in the military ) who didn't give two fucks about humans or Faunus which contradicts everything he was doing in V3 by basically saying "I made robots so I don't have to lose anymore soldiers" but it backfired cause Fall of Beacon.

But hey at least she's rewarded that her sister and friends were right because fuck having different values and opinions on how to handle situations because RWBY and friends are always right even when they aren't and caused more trouble than the actual villains.
