No sooner than the message had been sent did a knock come to the Pari’s apartment door. Outside it stood a man in a drivers crisp uniform with a black wrapped box and bag in his hands. The moment her door opened, the driver presented her with both and a slight bow of his head. “For you, mademoiselle.” His accent far thicker than Claude’s as it gave her some clue as to whom obviously had sent him. Pinned to the bag was a note that read:

When she opened the box she would find a beautiful silver topped gown with a white flowing skirt that billowed to the floor. Claude having perfected eyeing a woman’s size down to the number, many years ago. In the bag a pair of strappy silver heels encrusted in genuine diamonds meant to pop against the sheer and stark fabric of the skirt they would barely hide behind.

Claudes birthday was January 4th. I knew it was in January but I forgot when. Granted he probably would have spent it hip deep in a bottle somewhere with his face buried between some beautiful women’s thighs. You know a regular tuesday. Either way, gifts in liquid form are appreciated and always accepted.
