“How are you feeling today, hmm?” Blaze asked after getting home from work, placing a gentle kiss on Astrid cheek. “Not too tired, I hope.”

“So, the doctor said you had to take special vitamins, and I went to the store and got all the ones that they suggested. When is the next appointment again? I don’t want to miss it so if it’s on a Race Day I can pull out and all.” Blaze spoke as he walked into the room talking like someone who had, had far too much caffeine.

Blaze sat on her motorbike beside the park, her eyes looking over the sketchbook she held in her hands. She had finished a design for a client and was comparing it to their original request knowing she didn’t want to go too far off the original guide. When she heard footsteps nearby her eyes looked upward, curiously looking at the shadow in the distance.

Blaze sat in the tattoo parlour, everyone else having gone on break and leaving her to watch over the shop. When she heard the bell of the door opening she looked up from her sketch pad before slowly standing. “Hey there, can I help you with something?” She asked as she walked up to the counter. The place was known to mainly accept walk-ins even for bigger pieces, but the person who entered didn’t look like the type to get or have tattoos.
