"take off your clothes." the words were soft, almost encouraging in tone. but there was no mistake in her saying it to them. this was an order. the two of them in a changing room and zaneta had been planning this since suggesting the two of them go shopping. a few stores later and it was time in a lingerie store and she was not going to waste more time. "want to see what you're wearing before you change," she added with a smile, knowing full well she had worn her harness just for this occasion. she was going to use them in a public place- that was a guarantee.

"maybe i'm a...optimist; or just really want to be one, but i actually enjoy seeing all of the duplicates of the popular costumes out," it was an apropos of nothing statement to the person next to her, a mild observation. they didn't need to respond, but if they did? all the better. "get to see how everyone styled the same thing over and over, you know?" drink to lips, zaneta took a smile and gave the other a smile.

"you often come to neighborhood barbecues looking like that?" zaneta asked with a gentle laugh to follow. the words were easy as she put some pasta salad on a plate she was holding. "trying to draw all the eyes on you huh? or maybe just a certain set of them?"

“hello. sorry to bother you, and this be our first conversation, but my eldest somehow misplaced one his lacrosse balls last night. i promised him i’d find it. did it, per chance, fall over into your yard?” zaneta asked the other after they opened up the door. normally a bit more smooth, she felt a little lost in her element. a new neighborhood, her kids all moved out now and last night was the last one living together. “i’m zaneta, by the by.”
