“ You’re a new one. Who are you little one?”
" I wouldn't do that if I were you."
Life Lessons || Margaret and Elena
" Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles." Margaret sang to herself as she watched her bath water go down the drain, occasionally blocking its path from time to time just for the fun of it. Giggling to herself, the small child stood to her feet and carefully climbed out of the tub. Knowing Elena was probably trying to put the baby to sleep, she didn't want to disturb her. Removing her 'Brave' character towel from the sink, Maggie wrapped it around herself before placing on her robe and headed back into her bedroom.
Holding up her hands as she entered the room, she whispered," I'm all clean Leni!" Looking forward to hearing the older blondes usual response, it was her saddened demeanor that let Margaret know she may not have been getting it. Walking up to her sister as water continued to drip from her body, the child questioned." Are you crying Lena? What's the matter? Is it because I didn't eat my vegetables? Because I promise I will tomorrow. " Maggie didn't like seeing her sister upset. She didn't like seeing anyone upset. But when Elena was upset, it seemed like a grey cloud was casted over the entire house. Light blue innocent eyes stared up at the woman as she waited for a response.
Making New Friends || Margaret & __________
" Are you okay? You look sad and kinda lost." Margaret questioned the stranger beside her at the cross walk. She knew she weren't supposed to be speaking to them let alone be there alone in the first place, but she couldn't help herself. With her bow and arrow in one hand, the small blonde her satchel with the other. Watching for the signal just as her sister had taught her to, the little girl looked up at the other and asked," Are you new here?"
Fells Church was a small town. So small that practically everyone knew everyone, thus making it easy to notice when someone was from out of town. Maggie liked when she meet someone from out of town, especially if they were nice. People who were different from those she seen everyday was like a breath of fresh air. However, when talking to these people she always did so with a high guard. She learned in school and from her sister how talking to strangers could be dangerous, therefore she made sure she did so with caution.
