"Hey. I'm... sorry for how I acted before. When you were, y'know--just trying to help." He supposed the poor guy just had a knack for bad timing with him. Hands settled a bit uncomfortably in his hoodie pocket, eyes directed elsewhere, but his tone sounded sincere. "Just because I'm not on great terms with someone else right now doesn't mean I should be snippy with other people. I appreciate the intent."
The apology took Craig somewhat off guard. Both because he hadn’t expected it, and also because he simply didn’t think an apology was all that necessary. If anything, he was more glad that Sebastian didn’t think he was some sort of weirdo (hopefully). His attempt at comfort, while earnest, was definitely out of the blue.
“ It’s fine, really. I don’t blame you for being suspicious. ” he let out a sheepish chuckle, hand reaching up to rub the back of his neck. “ Especially since we don’t actually know each other all that well. ”
It probably wasn’t his place to get involved at all, but... It was simply in his nature to want to help in some small way. Even if it wasn’t necessarily any of his business. He didn’t know what was going on between Sam and Sebastian right now, and he certainly wasn’t about to play the middle-man, but he could only hope that they’d be able to work that out for themselves at some point.
Honestly, it was a little scary seeing Sam actually working for a change.
“ Sorry if it like, weirded you out or anything. And, y’know... Thanks. ”
