super, SUPER !! into baby plots atm so if you’re the same as me take a look at some of these ! and like if you’re interested !

a one night stand that leads to an unexpected pregnancy, having to contact the other like ‘I can do this on my own but just thought you should know’ and shit, you actually want to be involved??

a ‘we were high school sweethearts and i left for college four years ago and haven’t seen you since, oh wait, you have a child???? he’s how old????? does that make him mine? why have you kept him from me this long????’ aNGST central

a couple where one wants children and one does not, they accidentally fall pregnant and it becomes to much for the one who didn’t sign on for a baby, so they leave ! but they miss them incredibly and decide to come back (angst, arguments) try again, despite their fears of parenthood !

a woman who has desperately wanted a baby but hasn’t found the right man yet so has taken nature into her own hands, deciding to use a sperm donor ... and then in walks mr right. and he’s perfect. aside from his timing, of course.

a ‘life as we know it’ plot where our best friends have a child together and they’re killed in an accident and we’ve been named as the guardians, so what ?? we have to raise a kid together now ?

two single parents with children from past relationships meet at day care and their kids hit it off instantly in the same way that they do - and they begin to be what each other is missing, being able to offer help and support and empathy bc they both know what its like to struggle on their OWN !

a couple who fall pregnant but suffer a tragic miscarriage

a muse who doesn’t have a child meets one who does-- maybe they’re the babysitter who loves kids, maybe they’re a top business person who detests the creatures and having to navigate feelings for each other with KIDS involved !!

‘we’re a young inexperienced couple and have to look after my sister’s baby for the weekend and shit this is the most difficult thing we’ve ever had to do, but all of a sudden you’re broody???? oh heck’

young, inexperienced parents !!!!!! babies themselves having to look after and raise a baby !!!!

older, more mature parents who didn’t plan on falling pregnant at all and they keep getting comments when they’re out with the baby like ‘its so cute when grandparents take their kids out for the day’ and they’re like !!!!!!!

a muse who has been with one guy her entire life and when the relationship ends she meets player muse b, sleeps with him, and hey presto we are having a baby !

or, importantly, the baby project at high school between two muses who come from different cliques and having to raise a pretend child, but a child nonetheless ! and no, we’re not calling our baby ‘Spike’ --you’re contributing nothing to this project I'm doing everything ! but what if opposites begin to attract and this baby makes them closer than ever and hm, you’re not as much of a jerk as I thought ???

i desperately want a plot based off Jane The Virgin bc i’ve been binge watching the hell out of that show recently - i.e. the good, catholic girl ( muse a ) who was saving herself until marriage with her long-term cop boyfriend when she is accidentally inseminated by a careless doctor and falls pregnant with another man’s baby. the father, ( muse b ) wealthy playboy and hotel owner, wasn’t aware that his sperm was being used by his soon-to-be ex-wife in a desperate attempt to save their marriage. the irony is also in the fact that muse a used to have a huge crush on muse b and was once sucked in by his alluring, flirtatious ways but never called afterwards nor asked on a date. now, five years on, muse a and muse b are having a baby together. but what happens when things get complicated and their partners don’t know what they signed up for anymore, what happens when they start to look at each other differently after that first sonogram and their feelings start to blossom bc that little baby is half me, half you!?? how are they supposed to raise a child when they barely know one another??? well, isn’t that what those nine months are for? side note : an equally precious part to the plot will be after the baby is born -- navigating through night feeds, sleepless nights, dreaded diaper changes, altering routines to fit in the baby and making huge decisions on schools and other important parent stuff ! feeling like they’re going absolutely nuts except from having each other !

      so even though it’s new year’s day nd the moment’s passed i would LOVE some nye plots like ; -

- the standard ‘ i spot you sat on your own at a nye party and no one deserves to feel lonely on nye so i convince u to dance with me and have a drink and seeing u smile is making me melt, let’s agree to kiss at midnight pls ‘ - crappy new year ! ‘ i’ve just lost my job and you’ve just been dumped and we’re both sat in the same bar drinking away our problems , hey u know being alone in the new year is like a bad omen for your sex life throughout the rest of the year, why don’t u come back to my apartment nd we can better our fortune ? ‘ - ‘ i can’t believe we have to work on nye smh and grEAT now it’s midnight and i have no one to kiss but hey i guess i’ve always thought you were cute and nobody else is here and yep we’re making out o dear ‘ - ‘ hey random person i know we don’t know each other but pls can you kiss me so i can show my ex i’m 100% over them ! ‘ - ‘ we’re sat next to each other on a midnight flight nd it’s been silent the whole journey and idk maybe it’s seeing the clock go to 12.00 knowing i’m going into the new year alone that made me lean over and kiss u .... wait, is that a wedding ring on ur finger ? um ? ‘ - ‘ you’re one of my closest friends and i’ve liked u all year long and fuck it, it’s midnight and now or never to make a move ‘ - ‘ even though we’re exes our parents are friends and they’ve made us go to this crappy family party just like they did when we were kids and i’m pretty sure we hate each other now but we haven’t spoken in years ! you broke my heart ! the last time i saw you i threw a hairdryer at u ! but there’s such things as second chances, right ? how is it possible for your eyes to still be so dreamy ? ‘ - ‘ going out with my pals on nye and we’re all having a great time ! until hey, is that my ex ? the one that disappeared off the face of the earth ? and is that a child they’re holding or ? ‘

     i’m DYING for a plot where MUSE A is your typical spoiled brat; they’ve been given everything and have worked for nothing, and are the definition of arrogant. they’re from a wealthy family, and spent their youth in a stately manor house with a fancy library that’s bigger than the entirety of MUSE B’s childhood home. meet our second muse, the entire opposite: they work all hours, juggle two jobs just to be able to pay the rent and feed themselves. but fate is a funny thing. . . ( i have two plot ideas for these different muses, hmu on which you’d prefer to do. )

01 : when MUSE B is on their round at the hospital, they are dumped with MUSE A on their ward, who has several broken ribs and swollen bruises from a stupid bar fight they got into. A is incredibly difficult and demanding, believing they deserve the most attention in the room, and B holds their tongue, instead pressing forcefully onto their wounds and knocking into them causing them to yell out in pain before issuing a surprised ‘oh, sorry’ and not being able to suppress a grin. but soon enough B can’t hold back and they snap at A for being so self-centered and ignorant when their pain is due to their own fault, unlike others on their ward. several days later, A comes back to the hospital to see B and although they were angry, laughs because no one has ever spoken to them like that and hey, maybe it was actually deserved ? so A asks them out for coffee and B in in complete shock, but eventually has to accept, and they talk and disagree on things and B honestly insists that they don’t know what the real world is like and A is like so show me ? and then B takes them to their apartment and shows them their daughter who is sleeping in bed like . . . . you don’t know responsibility and ugh yes, think you know what comes next. they’re all you’re a single parent ??? let me help ? and B is all no thank u i don’t need your help. oh gosh YES PLEASE.

02 : MUSE A announces their engagement to someone who their family very much approves of, basically doing it out of obligation, and suddenly arrangements begin for their wedding. MUSE B is a member of staff for the company hired to arrange the wedding; taking care the food, attire, flowers, the ceremony etc. so they have a lot to organise. one day B is walking through the manor house minding their own business when they catch A in a room with their one of their fiance’s cousins, not being very loyal to their partner-to-be. although they quickly skedaddle, pretending they hadn’t seen a thing, A chases them down and asks them to keep it quiet, though B just snorts, completely revolted by them. the two continue to bump into one another as the wedding progresses, exchanging snide comments here and there, A occasionally disrupting their flower arrangements and spilling drinks on their plans as some form of threat, whilst B CONSTANTLY curses at them and waves obscene gestures across the room, getting caught by their boss and A laughing hysterically about it. maybe B gets assigned to go to A’s suit fitting, or maybe they even ask specifically for them to help? and basically yes, all the complicated feelings will follow like YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO YOUR PARTNER??? and the arguments and harsh words exchanged and A starts to feel awful and understand what they mean and apologises for the first time in their life and oh damn you look gorgeous in your suit you arrogant prick and somewhere along the way they soften towards each other ??? B starts to actually sympathise with them because they’ve been pushed into this engagement and A has never felt so exhilarated in someone’s company, never been talked back to before and it’s so honest they love it??? please give me.

back with another plot idea ! so i’d love a thread loosely based on rosie ( muse a ) and marco’s ( muse b ) story from WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING. muses a and b know each other from whatever history that they have (we can discuss this) and get talking one night and end up sleeping together. a total one night thing, until muse a is pregnant and has to inform muse b, though they’re completely okay with bringing up the child on their own, so he doesn’t have to worry. but muse b wants to help out and they start to spend more time together, actually dating and talking about baby things and names and getting excited ?? but then one night muse a is up with the most horrific stomach cramps and bleeding and a terrible feeling which is confirmed when they drive to the hospital to find out she’s LOST THE BABY. the two of them are devastated and try to work through it but it’s the fact that muse a can’t stand to be around him anymore, can’t see his face without being reminded of what they lost and muse b slowly sinking back into his old life of going out but then feeling like he’s missing something ?? and yes the angst and pure sadness would be IMMENSE but bring it. i’m so ready.

okay i’m desperate for a plot where muses a and b were attached at the hip through elementary school ( bc their parents were friends ) and expect high school to be the same, but somehow muse a gets sucked into the materialistic popular world and leaves muse b behind, who always harboured a small crush on muse a. muse a becomes arrogant and ignorant and picks on those who are beneath her, including friends of b himself, until one day he gathers the courage to tell her how he’s always felt and muse a completely HUMILIATES him beyond repair. soon after, muse b’s family moves to australia for work and they’re not to be heard from again, or so muse a hopes for her conscience’s sake. fast forward ten years and muse a’s life hasn’t progressed as far as she’d wished, she hasn’t achieved any of the dreams she had and still works in the local cafe, but she is more than sorry for the way she treated people when she was young. muse b returns home as his family are moving back again but wait ! he’s rather handsome now and incredibly intelligent bc he actually studied and he’s successful as hell and they have to see each other ! at family dinners ! with both of their new partners ! muse b shooting death glares at a ! and a not being able to keep her eyes off the one person she’s never been able to forget ! as hard as muse a tries to atone, muse b is still bitter, still angry about what happened. but muse b can’t stay angry forever. and what will a do when he announces he’s engaged??? can you ever love the person again who once ripped your heart into shreds???
