[𝑺𝑬𝑻𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑴𝑷𝑻𝑺, 037. the site of a car accident . Safine @ Leon]
Was Safine expecting to get into a traffic accident today?
No, not really.
Was she aware of the car barrelling towards her at top speed?
The pedestrian light was green, so, also no.
Was she still hit and sent flying several dozen metres?
Absolutely.
... Will she be alright?
Most likely. That girl could get trampled by a herd of Tauros and still manage to walk it off with little more than a mild complaint and a killer headache. However, none of the people and Pokémon who saw the accident would be aware of this (probably).

It had been a pretty normal day all things considered, riddled with the usual problems that came with leaving Leon to navigate on his own. But he didn't really have anywhere important to be for once, so he wasn't that pressed about being lost.
Once it got later in the day, then he'd bring out his Rotom to guide him to the train station. But for now, he was enjoying the sun and bustle of Wyndon and had even found a couple small shops he hadn't even known existed!
"Mom'll love that antique shop," Leon muttered to himself, making a note in his phone to remind himself of the name of the shop and what street it was on. "Oh, right, I should call her later--"
The screeching of tires barely registered, though the rush of wind from the car as it shot past him was enough to nearly knock the baseball cap off his head. He reached up to hold it down, gaze flickering up to scowl at the speeding car--
--The sound of a body hitting a car was a lot different than he thought it would sound. Duller, less dramatic than the movies made it sound.
Or maybe the blood pounding in his ears just made it sound like that.
Leon dropped his Rotom phone, the Pokemon catching itself before it could fall and taking off after him. Everyone else seemed frozen in shock, only Leon moving despite the spike of fear that had shot down his spine like ice.
"Miss!" He called out, falling over himself to stop and drop next to the woman that had been hit. He hesitated. She seemed conscious still, dazed though if he had to guess. He rested a hand on her arm, the only part of her he was certain was safe to touch.
I shouldn't move her... what if she's got a spinal injury?
"Don't worry," Leon said, surprising himself with how steady his voice was. "I'll get an ambulance called and you'll be just fine-- Rotom, call 999."
