you know what’s weird? i had sleep paralysis so often as a kid. i would wake up at night and i couldn’t move and i’d see a black figure at the foot of my bed that vaguely looked like my mom but with glowy yellow eyes, it didn’t really scare me because i thought it was my mom, but it was more unsettling than anything.

and also a couple months ago when i went camping i couldn’t fall asleep because it was cold and there was a giant tree root under me. then i went into this weird state where i would be dreaming but i was semi-awake and if i were to move in my dream my real limbs would move. it was kinda scary cause my eyes would be closed and i’d open them and my hand would be up and my legs were jerking. idk man it’s just... weird

so there was a white waitress at a korean restaurant that my dad knows and he said she grew up in korea. when we got the check she said 새해복 많이 받으세요 to my dad then turned to me and said “in korea we celebrate new years this time of year” (in english). i just nodded.. but like.. binch ik.. what makes you think i dont..
