amelia usually asked for permission, but had felt like this would've been a missed opportunity. it also felt like it would've been too forced if she'd asked him to pose. after all he was more than a subject in her eyes. once she saw that smile from jordi though, she felt like she'd done the right thing. "photos, yes. plural," she couldn't help but giggle. "i can show you, if you ask nicely of course," amelia grinned as she pulled her camera back close to her. it wouldn't take much to show jordi the few pictures she'd taken anyways.

amelia had just recently returned from an alumni meetup at her alma mater when she got caught off guard by the scenery around her. it may seem silly to others, but she was a photographer and couldn't help it. "i just need two minutes," she promised as she pulled out her camera. this would feel like a missed opportunity, so she hurried across the street. amelia leaned down next to the flowers before she held her camera up. she moved the camera to the left a little bit before she spotted the little bunny next to the wildflowers. "just a little more," she whispered to herself as she zoomed in. her lips curled into a grin as she finally snapped the pic. "all done," she yelled out as she turned around and began to head back across the street.

amelia had been stuck on her laptop for the past hour and a half, having paused her work just for a brief bathroom break. she'd been so busy editing pictures on photoshop for an event that she hadn't really noticed the time. instead her eyes remained glued to the screen as she went between fixing curves, shadows, and various highlights. there wasn't a hard deadline for them to want their pictures back, but the work was important to her nonetheless. however, when she heard her stomach suddenly growl she couldn't help but laugh. "oh wow, kind of forgot to eat a snack after lunch," she laughed again.

“   you  are  loved .   ”

                THOSE  THREE  WORDS.  Allison  didn’t  deserve  them,  and  what  would  Amelia  even  know ?   She  HAD  been  loved,  truly.  (  But  not  anymore  )  But  why ?  When  she  was  like  this,  a  FAKE,  a  lie.  Ever  since  she  was  a  child  she  had  been  pretending  to  wear  a  mask,  she  had  been  pretending  to  be  better  than  she  was,  just  making  mistakes.  MISTAKES ?  That  was  laughable.  Only  Allison  knew  how  bad  she  had  been  to  her  siblings.  To  her  family  (  all  of  it.  ).  AND  now,  it  seemed  as  karma  had  caught  up  to  her  finally.  [  WASN’T  losing  Claire  enough ? ]  She  knew  Amelia  meant  well,  she  had  never  been  bad  to  her.  Even  after  all  the  jelaousy  and  rivarly  of  their  teenage  years,  in  the  end  only  the  bond  had  lasted.  

               “  I--...  I  know  you  love  me,  I  know  you  ALL  love  me.  But  I’m  sorry  that  I  can’t  be  happy  about  it  right  now.  ”  after  all,  what  good  could  she  possibly  do ?  Even  know,  her  voice  back,  she  using  her  powers  again...  Amelia  was  much  more  helpful,  and  loved  than  her  [  DON’T  COMPARE  YOURSELF,  Allison,  not  again  ].  “  Thank  you,  for  comforting  me  today.  ”

“  i’m  not  a  hero.  ”

           “  NONE  of  us  really  are.  We’re  just  trying  to  live  a  normal  life,  but  it’s  just  a  little  bit  more  complicated.  ”  a  sigh,  relieving  the  constant  stress  she  lived  with  everyday.  A  HERO ?  It’s  impossible  to  truly  be  a  hero.  You  will  always  hurt  someone,  even  if  it’s  only  a  person  in  your  whole  life.  For  example,  Five  was  her  hero,  since  she  had  saved  all  of  them  and  still  came  back  to  them.  But,  if  you  asked  the  Comission,  Five  was  definitely  not  a  hero,  but  a  murderer.            “  And  you  don’t  have  to  be.  I  know  you’re  GOOD,  so  why  be  a  hero ?  Why  be  responsible  of  everything ?  I  know  if  I  need  you,  you’ll  be  there,  so  don’t  worry  too  much  about  doing  the  right  thing.  ”  she  smiled,  comforting  Amelia.  “  Just  do  what’s  right  for  you.  ”

“  this  is  going  to  be  a  little  uncomfortable.  ”

            “  OH  REALLY  AMELIA ?  ”  a  flash  of  pain  traveled  up  her  arm  into  her  shoulder,  just  to  end  in  the  base  of  her  neck.  She  had  gotten  hurt  while  fighting,  her  skills  rusty  and  UNUSED  since  her  Academy  days.  (  Unless  you  counted  a  couple  of  fights,  she  hadn’t  been  training  at  all.   Now,  arm  bleeding  all  over  the  table,  she  regretted  not  keeping  up  with  her  childhood  hobby.  )  Thankfully,  the  battle  had  ended  fast  and  nobody  else  had  gotten  hurt,  but  now  she  had  to  be  careful  with  her  arm  for  now.  She  worked  as  a  hairdressed,  for  God’s  sake.  How  is  she  going  to  make  money  like  this ?             “  You’re  okay,  right ?  Everyone’s  fine ?  This  is  just  a  scratch.  Sorry  for  yelling  at  you.  ”  she  apologized,  but  still  hissed  in  anger  at  the  woman  when  she  started  dressing  her  wound.

“ you deserve every good thing in the world . ”

              “  Thanks,  Ames.  But  it’s  not  true.  ”  If  she  really  deserved  every  good  thing  in   the  world,  then  why  was  her  life  like  this ?  Why  couldn’t  she  had  been  like  Amelia,  with  loving  parents  and  an  actual  life,  a  name.  She  still  had  engraved  in  her  mind  the  first  moment  she  saw  her,  tiny  in  their  living  room  freezing  a  glass  of  water.  That  hadn’t  startled  her,  what  had  susprised  her  truly  at  that  young  age  had  been  that  she  had  a  name.  Allison  didn’t  know  people  had  names  that  small,  she  had  made  a  fantasy  in  her  mind  that  names  were  given  to  you  once  you  were  old  enough.  Like  Grace,  Pogo,  Reginald...  No  Number  Three.             But  the  kid  wasn’t  a  number,  she  didn’t  stay  in  the  cursed  castle  ( as  she  liked  calling  it ),  she  had  a  family.  At  first,  this  had  bothered  Allison  to  unknown extents.  She  had  become  MAD  with  jelaousy.  But  when  the  years  passed,  Allison’s  hate  found  a  new  target,  the  one  she  should’ve  hated  all  along... DAD.           “ I’ve  done  some  things  that  make  me  deserve  hell,  not  heaven. ”
