When people make statements about reality, I find myself asking whether the person believes it is true, or rather wants it to be true, thinks it should be true, or, perhaps critically, is trying to make it true
i love ending posts with "my therapist says this is healthy" b/c she does i actually talk to her about my internet use habits and she gives me a little stamp of approval if she thinks what i'm doing is good for the mental illness
