I’m so proud right now I’m at a family gathering for Thanksgiving and my cousin who is 9 and my sister who is 8 are out on the back deck sweeping leaves and my cousin (who is a boy) goes “you know, I’m a boy- I hate sweeping. Boys aren’t supposed to sweep. They’re supposed to do things and protect the house. Girls are supposed to do all the housework.” And I was rolling my eyes from in the kitchen where I’m blogging but then I heard my sister say “Hey! Nuh- uh. It doesn’t always have to be that way, you know. Girls do stuff too, and boys should help out around the house. I think it should be fair like that.” And he didn’t really say anything else but I was like ‘Yaaaaas girl tell ‘em!’ In my head and I’m really glad my 8 year old sister was able to tell it like it is

A little late on the train here, but... Finally saw Megamind!

Eeeee I completely loved it! :D I don't think I've ever found Will Ferrell so funny. It had some really touching moments that I didn't expect. Also, Megamind makes the best faces.

Of course this is RIGHT before I go out of the country (and thus am without internet) for three weeks, so I've been frantically scouring the internet for fanart/fic all day. Seems to be a very quality fandom, I approve :D
