^inside mechanical/tracker action organs (there's like 4 types of organ out there) the cylindrical things are called rollers

^inside a tubular-pneumatic action organ

other types are mixed with electrical components. Tracker and Electro-Pneumatic are the most common types of organ used today

fun fact, you turn an organ "on" or "off" (activating or deactivating the flow of pressurized air) and on some organs if you turn them off while playing, the notes turn into this depressing deflating sound

Another fun fact, there is as organ stop called the vogelgesang (birdsong in english) which, as its name says, imitates the sound of birds. The sound is made by air blowing into pipes that are immersed in a bucket of water or light oil.

i’m quite sure everyone has noticed that i’m just not around anymore and i’m really sorry about that and the fact that i’ve got two unfinished AUs at the moment. in all honesty i’m just overall pretty uncomfortable with what is associated with this blog as well as my main. i’m not comfortable being here and it’s not good for my mental health. there’s been a lot of forcing myself to do a lot of things these past couple of months, both on my blogs and with my relationships in general, and i don’t really want to be reminded of it at the moment. even though i haven’t been posting here it’s still a thought bopping around in my head. there are a few people that know of this and my main blog that i just truly don’t want to associate with any longer--mind you, i don’t think any of them really care anymore, so.

anyway. i’m still posting things to AO3 (under jeonggoth) and i do still have separate au that i’ve been working on every now and then and if i ever finish it i’ll post it here... or to a new blog, i don’t know. i highly doubt anyone cares enough for me to post my other social media accounts but if by any chance that is the case, feel more than free to ask me.
