and I was wondering why they didn’t cast Adam Pascal as Cap’n America (because he’s… ADAM PASCAL?!?! If he exists in MCU and still be a Broadway star he should’ve been cast as the title role) but now I can see this is what they wanted

I rewatched Treasure Planet for the first time in years, one of my favorite and the most underrated Disney movies when I was into American animation back in 2000s. It’s such a moving and beautiful piece and I wish Disney hadn’t ditch the hand-drawn feature movies and explored more of this art style in traditional and digital combination, which was also successful in Tarzan (aka ‘tradigital’ quoting Katzenberg).

And some thoughts on the ending (spoilers below):

Jim looks up the sky and sees Silver’s face in the clouds, a la Mufasa

The entire lyrics of Always Know Where You Are reminds me of He Lives In You

Does that implies........ Silver’s dead by the time Jim comes back from the academy?????

Yes it’s going to be out on Netflix online soon but don’t watch it on your tiny phone screen!!! Or laptop!! Or whatever inferior to the real cinematic experience!!!!!!

It. Was. Amazing. It was beyond what I’d expected. Only in good ways.

tick, tick...BOOM! by Jonathan Larson

I finished Tick Tick Boom libretto and then reread the monologue before the song Why. I remember when I saw Yousuke Ichiwa, a talented actor I’d seen for the first time, performing this part alone on the small stage with the minimum set and props. I remember I clearly saw the sight of Jon running through the city after he was told the fact about his best friend.

It was surely one of the best moment I’ve ever experienced in live theatre.
