in new york, he keeps two observation beehives; a type of hive that allows him to easily study the behavior of bees without disturbing them.
he’s written several books about them, one titled practical handbook of bee culture, with some observations upon the segregation of the queen. he’s also bred and named a new species, euglassia watsonia.
his fixation began after the darkest period of his addiction, while he was receiving treatment at hemdale addiction recovery center. there he met the goundskeeper edson, the only person sherlock willingly spoke to during his treatment.
edson introduced him to the hobby, and inspired him to begin his own research while working on his detox.
his curiosity and fascination for facilitating bee’s lives became a large part of what kept him off the temptation of breaking out from the recovery center and relapsing.
in a way, he owes bees the ability to come back to himself.
hi so... run joey run... never happened. okay? okay. cool.
she wants to be the best, and okay yes maybe that means diversifying her lineup of performances, but she’s also borderline obsessive in her love for people she cares about. at this moment in time, jesse’s made her feel like she finally has an equal who values her (which hasn’t happened before) and she values him right back??? so she’s never going to try to like... recruit her exes to do some song with her.
not to mention rachel doesn’t care about being seen as promiscuous. as amusing as “rachel berry’s about to become musically promiscuous” is, it’s just out of character for my portrayal and uhhh yeah. she does not do that thing. it’s not a part of my canon, never has been and never will be. she’s freaking loyal as hell and that’s just facts...
and beyond that she doesn’t want to be objectified more than she’s already been in this school. she mentions inappropriate sketches in the bathrooms, not to mention the way jacob talks to her, it doesn’t seem like he’s the only one. she doesn’t want to be seen that way. it’s incredibly uncomfortable for her.

there’s something— something to watching humans go about their lives, watching as their routines blend into one, spanning years upon years.
something masochistic, yes.
I have thought of that moment often, for it still haunts my dreams now and then. I have comforted myself with the lie that I wished to protect them, and how I longed to be strong and unafraid. Brave, like she was. But I was not.
I killed them not because I wanted to protect mother and June— nor because I wished to protect myself. I killed them because it felt good. I wanted them to fear me, I wanted them to despair just as I had done so many years ago.
I know not what scares me the most; that I was capable of such a monstrous thing, or that I enjoyed it.
Anyone Ever: (brings up a vague conversation about feelings)
Kaiba: (stuffing duel monsters cards into his purse) i need to leave right now immediately
working on a korean vocab list (instead of studying for midterms oops)⭐️
