⚓ Are there any small details you tend to like in roleplays?

               in terms of threads,   i am such a big sucker for when my rp partners include tiny details that maybe i’ve mentioned to them or they read on my blog in a thread.   for example,   if i mention to someone that lisa’s favorite song is i might float by syd matters and then later when writing,   someone writes their character playing that song for lisa ???   WOW.   THAT’S SOME GOLD.   i also love,   more so with ship partners,   whenever their character talks about mine in such a poetic way it makes my heart zoom zoom.

ESTHER && DRINKING —

although esther’s stat page says she is a social drinker,   i feel like i should clarify on the matter.

esther doesn’t really drink unless she is at a larger social gathering.   parties for work or large meetups with friends.   with her mother’s drinking problems,   esther has always heavily associated alcohol with nothing but bad news.   she would much rather steer clear of it.

if she does drink,   it’s typically very little.   maybe a glass of wine or two,   but usually no more than that.   esther has only ever truly been drunk maybe a couple times in her life and both times she absolutely hated it and was   CONVINCED   she was dying.

she will,   however, accept a drink from someone who gives her one.   that’s not saying she’ll drink the whole thing,   but she will sip on it here and there just so the other person doesn’t feel bad.   but,   if she ever finishes it,   she’ll make sure they don’t get her another.

on the very   RARE   occasion esther is genuinely really drunk,   something severe has happened in her life and she’s learned from her mother the only way to cope with that is at the end of a bottle.   it doesn’t always happen,   but when it does,   it’s quite ugly.   she is a rather emotional drunk who cries at just about everything under the sun while telling strangers her entire life story.
