She looks at her work proudly and sighs in happy relief. It took several hours but Malina's done organizing the stuff for the most adorable date the Emperor and her will have. Okay, fine, she didn't do ALL the preparations on her own. Kronk and Bucky might have helped a tiny bit. But shhh.

The girl turns her head to the side and stare at the beautiful natural green scenery and the river before her. This has been her most favorite place in the kingdom as she used to say this was her secret spot. During her childhood and early teenage years, Malina used to come here and have a happy little moment with herself while she read a book or played in the river alone. She wasn't the best of friends with the peasant children. All of them found her... quite boring. Therefore, she never had anyone to share this place with. Their loss, she swore up and down that no one would ever know the area, and yet, look at where she is, planning to ask the Emperor to accompany her. With everything set up, Malina returns to her family hut to take a shower and making herself look gorgeous for the occasion. Being the most prepared girl she is, she has already sent Kuzco a letter several hours ago to ask him to meet her at her hut to go help her with her sock drawers (just to bully him a little) and tell him to wear nice but casual clothes without the crown.

He won't die if he doesn't bring that with him for one day.

And so, Malina waits for Kuzco to come as she brushes her hair and has a small internal struggle as she can't decide what clothes to wear herself.

#like listen boy.#all the gameolay stuff and the somniums are so much better than aitsf #it had interesting themes that built up on the last games #it had some really good setup for character exploration #esp with mizuki aiba and ryuki now that date’s gone #the new characters are almost if not just as compelling as the the first games (… if the game actually focused more on them)#had one (1) really good plot that felt interconnected like how the first game did it #but man #they fucked it up bad #the entire timeline twist is useless and only really serves the purpose of having a twist #with the entire narrative bending over backwards to fit this twist #2 borderline pedophillic relationship!!#2 missed opportunities of characters (lien and kizuna)#absolutely no interesting exploration of character dynamics EVEN WHEN THE STPRY WAS BEGGING FOR IT #and instead having the characters TELL who they’re close to and how that affects them instead of SHOWING IT #the cast is completely flooded with characters from the original game that didn’t need to be here #date.#and despite EVERY CHARACTER from the first game being here the ONLY one who actually benefits is amame #with every other returning character either downgrading or staying exactly the same #and a really bad mix of fast pacing + too many idea + none of them being explored properly #that makes it feel like the game has nothing going on and too much going on at the same time #uchikoshiposting #aini #aini spoilers
