Mini AU where Mentor River survives that like 100 foot fall off the bridge miraculously. They've been hiding out for years, heard about the rebellion and was watching from a distance but was worried he'd screw things up/ endanger Hunter before Belos was gone. I realized both River and Collector fell off that bridge (uh. both of them were thrown. by the same person. but neither of them think about that often). Imagining Collector being kinda overwhelmed at the concept of another Grimwalker being alive and their post-discovering death guilt. But River (who saw Collector right before he got thrown off the bridge) has no hard feelings about it. Life moves on, yk.
