^ ^ ^ FAMILY.
I LITERALLY LOVE KINDHEARTED HUMANS SO MUCH.
FRICK I’d been investing in the Easter Treats Stamps because I was too dumb to look at the shop wizard along with the trading post.
At least they’ll inflate in a couple years’ time, right?

( . ♜ —- SHOULDER RUBS )
School was intense. It was stressful, too and sometimes Sage just enjoyed some company after school —- other than his aunt. He just liked to be with his friends, hear about their day and of course he had asked for Shay to come over and waste away a Tuesday afternoon with him. The two were squished up on his bed, Sage’s back to the wall and Shay sitting between his legs as if they really had no room on the bed for the both of them. But, they actually had half a bed to use. The tiny TV in the corner was playing some kind of Animal Planet program that Sage had not seen before and he couldn’t quite hear because Shay was talking about a mile a minuet about what had happened during fourth period. Sage cared, he did. But, when there were lions on his TV — he got curious. Humming to reassure Shay that he was listening, he also brought his hands to the boys shoulders and began to rub them gently, his chin resting right in the crook of the blondes neck. “I hear you,” Sage whisperers, his knee knocking into Shay’s side. “But, the lions. I cannot here those.” And really, the shoulder rubbing seemed to relax Shay enough to keep him quiet. Though, Sage knew the commentary about the lions were inevitable. He liked it, though.
( . ♝ —- READING A BOOK TOGETHER )
The library was huge, and Sage never failed to get overwhelmed inside of it. Shelves upon shelves of books, and he’s expected not to take every single one home? That’s blasphemy! Sage needed about an extra three hours in here if he was ever going to decide on a book in a proper manner. Dragging his finger across the titles as he walked through the aisles, he stopped as he saw one of the books weirdly wiggling. His brow furrowed, and he stepped a bit closer — ready to pull on it when it was quickly pulled out in the opposite direction and a boy with bright blue eyes and blonde hair poked his head through the opening. “Boo!” And that simple word almost gave Sage a heart attack. “You asshole,” Sage giggled, whacking Shay lightly on the top of the head with one of the books he had picked up from the Biography aisle. “What’re you doing here?” By the time he got an answer, Shay was already on the other side of the book shelf and right beside Sage. In his hands were one of the best books known to man, probably. The Lion King. It was a special edition, and of course —- The one book that Shay had picked. Before he could think — he was being dragged down the aisle and into the reading area. “It was fate that brought us together today.” Sage mumbled, falling into a chair and expecting Shay to do the same but no, he fell right into his lap. A small ‘oof’ came from Sage’s lips and he watched as Shay pulled open the book with a content smile. “Read it aloud!” Whined Sage. “I want to hear how it ends in book form.”
( . ♞ —- CARING FOR WHILE ILL )
It was strange day, a day that Sage never wanted to see happen. It was the day that Shay was not in school. Usually, Sage takes it well —- but he tried to do a protest again in the cafeteria and no one cheered at all. Usually, Shay is in the back and cheering him on like he was the president. But, nope. Nada. That’s why Sage was at Shay’s front door. He was holding a bag full of DVD’s and a box of tissues with candy on top were settled in his other arm. Knocking with his foot, he stepped back and waited for the door to pull open. When it did, he was greeted with a very ill looking Shay. Not his favorite looking Shay because he didn’t look happy. He looked ill. Bags under his eyes, a frown on his face, a red nose. This just wasn’t going to do. “Back inside, come on. Nurse Sage is here.” He chimed, pushing the blonde back into his home and following close after. “I brought DVDs and this time — it’s classics such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and I even bought all three Back To The Futures. And let’s not forget about the best one,” Sage dug into the bag, pulling out the DVD for Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. “Now, i’m going to make you something to eat. You go get comfortable on the couch.” He’s never bossed someone around so much before, but he felt like this was needed. Love can cure any sickness. Before leaving for the kitchen, Sage leaned down and gave Shay a one-armed hug rather tightly. “M’glad you’re still alive.” He teased, giggling into his shoulder.
