scream queens
there was nothing wrong with exploring new genres and hwasa had found herself interested in dabbling herself in the theatre works of horror, maybe even some suspense. and what other time would be perfect than a month before halloween?
dracula had always been a favorite of hers and when the opportunity arose for her to play lucy westenra - well, she couldn’t pass it up.
she’s rehearsing for her audition in nothing but an old t-shirt and a pair of cotton shorts, hair still wet from the shower as she reads her lines aloud. pacing around her living room, hwasa’s voice fills the otherwise silent air. she’s at the part when seward drives the stake through her heart - the script requiring her to let out the most painful scream should could muster. which was evidently very convincing because moments later, a man is barging in through her front door (did i not lock that???) - bat in hand and stance ready to fight.
“um... hi?” script in hand, she offers the stranger a weak, slightly confused smile.
