I'm sorry but how could anyone caption this like it's cute? All the comments under the post I saw this on originally were talking about how it's cute too, and someone even made a Frerard joke 😑 Like are you fucking kidding me? He's CLEARLY so uncomfortable and I hate that the interviewers tried to push him to answer when he clearly didn't want to. Like don't get me wrong I've had a crush on this man since I was like 13 but c'mon, they're real people with boundaries. Gerard has talked about hating the Danger Days era before, and whenever I see old interviews like this one, the more and more I understand why. It appears that some people just didn't learn a thing on top of it all 🙄 Ik at the end of the day it doesn't matter because no one in the band will ever see this random fan account video on Zuckerfuck's AI dystopian ragebait website, but that doesn't change that this kind of objectifying behavior from fans is exactly the kind of thing that drive a wedge between themselves and the fanbase in the first place, or that it bothers me so much to see.

Here are the last four of the Steel Rebels MC series.

9. Possessed by Knox

Ruth is rushing home from college in order to find and liberate her younger sister, Abby (see Satisfied by Ransom). She’s been told by her parents that Abby was kidnapped and brainwashed by the Steel Rebels, and Ruth is going to get her sister back.

I do wonder why Ruth believed her parents without question, especially with their warped world views, and how she worked so hard to get away from them. 

Anyway, when she gets to the Steel Rebels’ HQ, the first person to talk to her is Knox, who is tending bar. The moment he sees her, he knows that she’s going to be his, even if she’s a bit uptight. I’m a sucker for a man who sees a woman for the first time and immediately knows that she’s meant to be his. He never once doubts that she’s the one for him, though Ruth does a lot of the doubting for him.

10. Hunted by Trigger

Ten years ago, Trigger, a former sharpshooter and Medal of Honor recipient, was convicted of a crime he did not commit, sending him to prison and stripping him of his commendations. His sentence was ten years, but he got out on parole after six, and now, just as his parole is about to be finished, he’s slapped with another crime he didn’t commit.

Saint, the leader of the Steel Rebels MC, has come to new lawyer Maeve, after having done his research on who would actually defend Trigger properly. She takes the case, and manages to get Trigger out on bail, giving her time to really dig in to this case.

Maeve and Trigger are burning for each other, and even though they’re temporarily separated by a misunderstanding, they’ll still get their happily ever after, because sometimes, justice really does happen, and if anyone deserves it, it’s Trigger.

11. Watched by Hawk

Amelia and Hawk have lived next door to each other for a year. Amelia is ridiculously attracted to Hawk, and expresses it by avoiding him as much as possible. He still manages to catch her now and then, but everything changes when Hawk is informed that he has a two-month-old daughter, Wren, the product of an ill-advised one night stand he had after his brother had been killed. 

Once Hawk sees his little girl, that’s it. He’s all in. There’s still a possibility that the mother could change her mind, and she has thirty days to do so, but that doesn’t change anything for him. Wren is his, and he even takes a leave of absence from his job in order to take care of her.

I love seeing how completely Hawk loves his daughter, even as he’s figuring out how to be a father. DCPS is, of course, scheduling weekly visits to make sure Wren is being properly cared for. He even asks for help—yes, a man asking for help—from Amelia when he can’t get Wren to sleep. Turns out the baby loves violin music.

12. Shielded by Maverick

Years ago, Knox was separated from his younger sister Viv, when their deadbeat mother tried to outrun the debt that she owed the Steel Rebels. Viv is now a legal adult, and she took what she could from her mother’s boyfriend Rick, and what few clothes she had, and ran. She hid in a seedy motel, waiting for her brother to come for her.

Kyle shows up instead. And from the moment he lays eyes on her, he’s a goner. Since she doesn’t have ID (thanks to her addict mother and mother’s boyfriend and their control over her), Kyle and Viv have to road-trip back to Chicago, because you need ID to fly.

Poor Vivian has lived in fear for so long. Her mother’s boyfriend, Rick, has been trying to get in her pants (ew) and she has to shove a chest of drawers in front of her door every night to keep him out. She doesn’t know how to escape on her own without getting caught and dragged right back home, so Knox’s plan is the lifeline she desperately needs. If she can only keep her hands off of her hot protector.

Kyle takes about five minutes to fall in love with Viv, but he’s not going to betray his friend’s trust. Or Viv’s. He’s absolutely sure she’s the only woman for him, and he’ll risk anything for her, including his own life. He knows he’s going to get a thrashing when her brother finds out, but he can’t help who he loves, and he loves Viv. 

So, come for the hot bikers, stay for the women who love them, and enjoy this final four of the twelve-book series.
