"Well now. What do we have here? Don't be afraid - I'm here to help."
@wxtchpilot
It started like a usual day at the academy until tragedy struck, two people running full speed into each other.
-SLAM CRASH-
“Owwww...“ The young man rasped quietly out, clutching his front, he had an impact of something shorter but only caught the glimpse of red. Right in the diaphragm, he was still looking at the floor. He had been running late so he thought to try and take a shortcut around a corner.
@alchemist-of-blight continued from here.
The first thing El noticed after she got over the stumble was the...’mouth.’ It had to be a mouth, right? Yet it reminded her of a hole, a deep cavernous hole edged in sharp teeth and dripping a strange, glowing orange fluid.
Blinking, the child glanced up. Those eyes burned the same color as the fluid. Almost as orange as the ever-grinning pumpkin that stood in front of one of these houses. Strange clothes garbed this even stranger man. He looked like he wore a potato sack, one of those big ones that Hop liked to buy in bulk ‘just in case.’ Come to think of it, his spine hunched over like one of those potato bags, too...
Yet despite his appearance, he never touched her. Instead, he backed away as if he were sorry. It confused El. People that looked like this were usually killers, weren’t they?
Of course, it was then she noticed the cane. Her bald head tilted to the side. Did he need help walking? Was that why his back looked like a potato sack?

Tien wandered the room of Karma-taj looking around curiously at the peculiar wall hangings and decorations, her parents were waiting for her back at the hotel they would meet up with her later. Tien didn't know what she was supposed to expect when she was allowed into the mysterious place until she dropped a vase and it shattered. Her first instinct instantly being to try and pick it up until she saw the other.
Tien offered a sheepish smile
""I'm sorry it just shattered and ...this isn't a great first impression is it?"
“You come into my classroom and interupt while I teach.” Madelyne clarified, letting her hair fall from it’s tight bun. “You’ve best come with a life threatening situation, or I’ve won the lottery.” The Black Queen finished, taking a seat on her desk, motioning for the intruder to speak.
It was wise not to waste a Hellfire Academy teacher’s time. This did not change for the Magically Inclined Telepath, as she was never in a rather pleasant mood after hours. She did not want to spend the entire night grading papers, so her lunch hour had become rather productive in clearing her schedule. This however was haltered by unwelcomed intrusions and fumbling questions.
“Speak up.”
