The F4H-1 Phantom II prototype (142259) the Navy's first supersonic two seat twin jet all-weather fighter. it will carry air-to-air missiles and is capable of long range delivery of conventional and nuclear weapons. The test pilot Gerald Huelsbeck initiated the seat ejection sequence but was killed when he ejected too low for the parachute to deploy.
