Gone are the fandom days of yore where a show like Supernatural could last 15 seasons putting out the most mid tv to ever exist but the sheer love for the characters and world meant fans didn’t care and made the most of what they had and stayed strong.

I don’t mean to be a bitch. I’ll probably end up deleting this. But man it’s demoralizing to see what modern day fandom has become. People are so willing to jump ship the moment a show is imperfect. No one cares once it stops being trendy. Fanfic??? Fanart??? Nope no passion just content. Something becomes seen as cringe? Drop it like a hot potato and act like you never cared to begin with. Can’t risk looking like a loser.

Remember when people stayed in fandoms for years? Shows with one season would have fandoms so powerful you’d think they were still running

Now? A month into a show’s off-season and everyone has run off looking for the next shiny new toy. Some mid writing? Oops I didn’t get exactly what I wanted. This show is shit with no redeeming qualities now so I’m just going to ghost all the friends I’ve made. It’s exhausting. I’m sick of it.

No one fix-it fics their way out of shit anymore. Nope, putting in effort is too hard when you can just consume.

But my goodness! I can bet my life on it that Spamton actually allowed himself to be vulnerable and honest with Tenna! He doesn't trust anyone and yet he decided to trust Tenna!

Hence why he later blamed Tenna so much because he didn't know if Tenna actually loved him! Because no one ever loved him like Tenna did! And it's easier it's so much easier to tell yourself that this love was a lie! No one loves you! So why it'd be different this time!
