hero hated blaise. okay, maybe not hated, but currently she was pissed off. maybe not pissed off, maybe just grumpy. it was hard for her, especially after a hard day of work, to come o home to her two best friends, best friends she grew up with, was in love with, and see a mess. she hated messes. they stressed her out. what stressed her out even ore was when they tried to downplay it. oh, it’s not that bad, relax. she was not going to relax. everything was out of order. it was like they knew she was due to come home and did it on purpose! “god, you’re such idiots!” she punctuated with a stomp, not the most adult, junior associate at a law firm thing she has ever done, but she was upset. “i can’t even look at you!”
gwen tried not to roll her eyes, knowing it would only make the high-strung girl even worse. she didn’t even think it looked that bad. you move a few things for a mid-day get together and suddenly, you’re tearing down the apartment. she reached out to pat her shoulder, trying to calm her down. “babe, come on, it’s really not that bad. why don’t you go and chill out in your room?” really it would put a band-aid on the situation for a moment, give them time to ‘clean-up’.
