Our prayers are precious to God because we’re precious to Him. Because He loves us with such selfless, priceless, and merciful love, He longs for us to stay close to Him in prayer.

Ok megatron crash out.
Been more active in fandom space lately and I have seen some fucking terrible takes on MTMTE/Megatron/morality. BRACE BECAUSE I AM BIASED.
“Megatron didn’t deserve his redemption arc.”
“Starscream deserved it more.”
“I hate Megatron’s redemption arc, it was so unrealistic.”
DID WE READ THE SAME COMIC???????
This isn’t a “Megatron redemption arc” HE DOESN’T GET REDEEMED. HE FACES TRIAL. HE GETS EXECUTED OR PLACED IN A SOLITARY, INFINITE HELL FOR ETERNITY HOOKED UP TO A MACHINE.
Megatron does not get a happy ending. He never should have. He got a limited time where he was ‘the happiest’ he’d ever been. He did not deserve that.
The characters around him come to tolerate, if not like him. They are biased because they spent time with him on the Lost Light, a place considered home. His ‘redemption’ if you call it that lives only TRULY in their minds and experiences. He gets his 819 years in the functionist universe. That does not redeem him. All that went down with the Knights of Cybertron arc at the end does not redeem him.
To the rest of the universe his legacy is ONLY that of the worst Cybertronian to ever live. HIS REDEMPTION WAS NOT THE POINT. THATS NOT WHAT IT WAS. I can’t put this isn’t words without feeling like I’m crazy oversimplifying it.
Like any good, complex-ish media so many of the characters are morally grey. YOU AS THE READER get to decide. We are biased because we saw Megatron. Inside his head and how he treated others. That does not redeem him. I don’t like to think it was ever ABOUT his redemption!!! It never was to him! We don’t want the story to end.
I’d like to think there was an exploration on how a character LIKE THAT can be changed. If they can be changed at all. His second life was confined to a very small portion at the end of his time. His legacy will ALWAYS be one of desolate, brutal, unforgivable horror. I think reducing / brushing away Megatron/Cyclonus/Whirl/Starscream whoever else has a shaded past to just ‘a bad redemption arc’ is crazy. It is NOT black and white like that. And we get to decide!!
Engage ur thoughts about the media you enjoy !!! It’s so fun

Previous part First part
Evan Rosier was not what Remus had expected. He’d never actually met the man. He wore a crisp, expensive blue suit and black dress shoes polished to such a high standard Remus could see his reflection in them. He looked more like the people at Sirius’s parents' parties than an estate agent.
“Mr Lupin, pleasure,” Evan said, holding out his hand for Remus to shake.
“Remus, please,” Remus told him, taking the proffered hand and giving it a quick shake.
“What can I do for you today?” Evan asked, sitting at the little café table that they’d agreed to meet at.
“I can’t get in contact with Sirius. He’s been missing for four days now, and I’m getting worried. I wondered if you had a way to contact him?” Remus said it all very quickly. He wanted an answer as quickly as possible as his next stop was Grimmauld Place to confront Walburga Black herself.
“That’s quite a lot, Remus,” Evan furrowed his brow as he quickly typed something on his phone and put it down. “What number do you have for Sirius?” Remus read it out, and Evan nodded. “That’s the one I have. If he’s not answering that, then I’m sorry, I don’t have another way to get hold of him.” A waiter came over and took their orders. Remus didn’t really feel like eating, but he didn’t want to seem rude after Evan had agreed with barely any notice to meet him. “While we're here Remus, do you think we could have a chat about Rufus?” Remus winced. He thought Sirius had settled all this.
“Er, yeah, sure,” Remus replied, taking a sip from his scalding hot tea.
“He’s put in another complaint about a guest of yours trying to intimidate him,” Remus slapped his forehead with his palm.
“That’s Barty. He’s a friend of Sirius’s. Er, yeah, so Rufus refused to serve us because of the fajita incident, and Barty took offence.” Evan let out an exasperated sigh.
“Honestly, when I took over management for Sirius I thought it’d be an easy property, and it was until Sirius came back into the picture. This Barty sounds like a right burk, if you don’t mind me saying,” Remus snorted.
“Not at all. He is a burk, but a well-meaning one, mostly.”
“Well, all I can say is if he cares for you at all, he’ll tone down his vigilante justice or Rufus might press charges for harassment,” Evan warned, sipping his own tea without burning himself as Remus did.
“I would if I knew where he…” Remus cut himself off mid-sentence as his phone began to buzz. He looked at the caller ID and snatched it up off the table. “Barty! Where are you? Are you alright? Have you heard from Sirius?” The other end of the line was quiet for a moment.
“Yeah, it’s not good, Remus.”
