Hear me out.

We all love an early Patterns Reveal for Rumi. We all love Feral Rumi. We all love those combined right?

So:

The fight was going bad. Mira was cornered, and Zoey was injured behind her, providing support as best as she could while stuck on the ground.

It took everything in her to just keep them safe, so when the Honmoon rippled red, Mira didn’t know if she’d survive whatever came next.

She quickly learned what came next as a horrible snapping sound came from the direction of the ripple, and all she could do was watch as Rumi transformed into a horrifying creature, some weird hulking mix of Tiger and Demon, and roared, sending another ripple through the Honmoon.

The demon (Rumi?) proceeded to then grab the demon closest to her and. Rip. It. In. Half.

What.

What happened next could only be described as the most horrifying thing Mira had ever seen, and one by one demons were torn apart with claws, teeth, and a tail. Throats were torn out, guts were spilled, and the floor was littered not with dust caused by starlight, but the golden ichor of demonic blood.

The fight ended when the Tiger Demon had unhinged its jaw and crushed the neck of the last and largest demon there. And then she started dragging that demon’s bloody and mutilated corpse. Right over to Mira and Zoey.

Mira reacted fast, bringing her Gokdo level with the creature. Only for it to go flying out of her hands with a simple swipe of the creature’s claws. It finally stopped once it was right in front of her, carelessly dropping the dead demon at her feet.

A tense silence fell among the three of them, and Mira didn’t know what was going on anymore. She didn’t know if Zoey would be okay (she had to be please zoey pleasepleaseplease she’s sorry she wasn’t fast enough don’t). She didn’t know what happened to Rumi (she was right infront of her she saw it happened she heard the snapping of bones). She didn’t know if she would survive (she wouldn’t. That creature rumirumirumirumi would kill her before she made it a single step).

At least Zoey was behind her, so she’d be able to somewhat protect her from whatever that creature was doing with the demon, as it played with its corpse, nudging it forward onto Mira’s feet (it’s horrible she doesn’t want that on her feet but she won’t move can’t move she’s smart enough to know not to move otherwise he will it will be angry).

Whatever it was seemed kind of familiar, almost like…

“…a cat?”

“What?”

“Look.” Zoey pointed. “Doesn’t that remind you of a cat offering a mouse.” Zoey said, as if it wasn’t a demon at least twice their size offering the crushed body of a different demon (weren’t demons supposed to dissolve after they die?) to Mira.

And you know what? Yeah. Yeah she does look like a sopping wet cat trying to offer up a mouse. Just instead of being covered in water she’s covered in demon blood and instead of being small she’s twice their size.

Bonus:

Rumi, having the intelligence of a cat, thinks: Silly Mira! I’m bringing you food!

Mira, having the intelligence of a human, thinks: I am about to actually die.

Zoey, having the intelligence of Zoey, thinks: Rumi is a big cat! She’s gonna kill me but she’ll look cute while doing it and maybe that makes it worth it.

I woke up at 2am to watch the show as it dropped and I LOVE IT SO FAR, I HAVE *SO* MANY THOUGHTS. . .

But one of them is (EPISODE 2 SPOILERS), assuming Verin Does™ exist in the animated show universe. . . Then *Damn*, Essek really got a picture up that's just him and his ma alone in the most prominent space in the room, huh? XD

I dunno, something about the deliberate choice to have a portrat w/o *anyone* else in the family in sight in the main room/the room where it seems his Ma spends alot her time. . . And it's not even recent!! It was from back when he was a smol kid!! Before Verin was even born, perhaps?? If they have at least an 8-10 year difference?? There HAVE to be more recent ones. . . Man, not even his DAD is in it, it's just him and his ma.

I finally watered my plants!! So have some orchids pics

These two are brand new! (To me) yay clearance plants!! (All the orchids I have. Im pretty sure all of them were clearance :p)

These are my two small one that are blooming rn! I have two more small one that don't have flowers rn. Also. One looks. A lil rough . . .

These are the two big one that have nice flowers rn! I have one that has old flowers. But its. Really hard to get out of my window. Like. I can. But all the other plants are coming down two. So. I really need to get some plant hangers. It have some that need to have more room. Hmm. I wonder if I could get an orchid in a plant hanger. It would need to be very long. Anyways! PLANTS!!
