Season 2 of Percy Jackson has ended and boy, oh boy, this season is amazing!

As a person who haven't read the books, I was fully hooked on the show when it came out and was legit pumped to hear that it got renewed for season 2 and 3.

I haven't and probably will not see the film's version of the sea of monsters, this season version is no doubt the better adaption of the two, not just character development and a bigger budget, but lore expansion too.

Besides our main trio, I love how the supporting characters get a bigger role to play this season, especially Tyson, Clarisse and Luke.

And the fact that season 3 is going to be adapted for the first time, it's won't be nobody's surprise if the show gets renewed again, sucks that we gotta wait again for S3 but at least it's coming this year!

Really love the two themes woven through the whole show so far. It's not only about a quiet loner like Shimarin learning to open up and socialize. You see that done a ton with a lot of slice of life shows that are pretty light on any kind of thematic content. I really like how Yuru Camp is doing it cause at the same time, it's also about a very loud bubbly extrovert like Nadeshiko learning to appreciate quiet and lonely moments too. They're both learning to enjoy being outside their comfort zone, neither is better or worse than the other.
