Words like 'illegal' and 'underground' tended to be things that caught Cas' attention, but even if he hadn't seen the article, he would have known about the concert. The rumors had been floating for days, bits and pieces coming together from overheard bar talk and supposition from clients, although the full details had come from a bed partner that smoked during the confession, staring up at the ceiling as Cas made bets on how long it would take before she fell asleep and he could sneak out.
Was it pushing his luck to attend a concert that he knew aurors would be trying to shut down? Honestly, yes, but it was exciting and with as many people as there were, Cas wasn't too worried about being caught since no one had ever managed it before. The Ministry should really have bigger things to worry about than a concert where it seemed like people were having fun - or at least Cas was having fun, dancing and rubbing against people whose names he would never know.
There was one person that he knew by name, however.
Cas was pressed against someone from behind when he first saw him. It wasn't the sort of place that Cas expected to see Nate again, he hadn't expected to see him anywhere outside the club, and originally Cas was just going to ignore him since Nate was just another one night stand, but.
Why did Nate keep looking away?
That more than anything else was what drew Cas' attention to him and caused it to stick there. It was a good time that night, it hadn't been awkward, and considering Cas was clearly occupied with someone else, he didn't get why Nate was acting like that, why it looked once like he'd blushed.
So of course he started dancing closer, shifting from partner to partner through the crowd until he was close enough that he could have grabbed Nate by the hips and gyrated with him if he wanted.
"This isn't the kind of dancing I'm used to seeing from you." Cas commented, pitching his voice to make sure that Nate could hear him. @nathan-chastain
