The gentle scent of lavender filled his nose, lulling him to sleep. Did she know of its effect on him? If so she never made a comment on it, just had that warm tender smile on her face as his forest green orbs fought to stay open. Ashe chuckled softly before resuming the gentle motion of her hand in his hair, lightly scratching his scalp careful not to snag on any knots in his ebony tresses. Taliesin couldn't remember the last time he was so content that didn't even notice when he finally gave in to the embrace of sleep, a light smile on his lips as Ashe bent down to give him a soft kiss upon his brow.

"Sleep well, Taliesin."
