last movie I watched: the old guard!! it’s one of my friends’ hyperfixations currently and she wanted to share it with me so we watched it :’) granted we’re also using it for an AU now BUT STILL.

last show I watched: the x-files... i’m rewatching in a desperate attempt to get back to middle-aged mulder as fast as possible. we don’t talk about how much i love middle-aged mulder i always go for the damaged middle-aged bottoms, man

favourite OC: i don’t know!! i haven’t done REAL OC stuff in a long time. the only OC i have at the moment is this professional dom, but it’s not like i’m doing any plots with him. he exists only for the smut LMAO... but i do have a backstory for him and everything... dude grew up in a travelling caravan with a father who was a magician and a mother who was a fortune teller, dropped out of med school, etc etc.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED:  extremely slow! clark isn’t my main muse, so i’m not here NEARLY as often as i am on my main. :( feelsbadman

REPLIES:  i don’t care about length or style or formatting or icons. i just write whatever comes to mind. the only thing that i DO make sure of is that my rp partners have something to reply to, and that i haven’t just written a post full of reactions to whatever happened in their reply. i’m not big on that rp style where for every paragraph someone writes, you write a paragraph in reply to it; i like to think of threads as moving in real time, and paragraph-by-paragraph matching leads to making a scene drag on forever. it also makes the whole thing feel unnatural.

STARTERS:  let me know you want one and i’ll do it. seriously. mutual or not. i don’t care about plotting; i’ll write a starter for just about anything, gen/angst/shippy/smutty/whatever. otherwise, given clark’s a side muse, i don’t throw open starters out much if at all.

INBOX:  i prioritise inbox stuff before working on the stuff in my drafts. ^_^;; it’s open to mutuals and non-mutuals, too!

SELECTIVITY:  i say semi-selective only because, again, clark’s not a main. this just reflects the fact i don’t have enough time to get to everything all at once, though, rather than interest in muses. i love canonmates, crosscanon, OCs, AUs, whatever the hell else you can throw at me-- all i care about is writing, in a hobby like this.

WISHLIST:  i’d really dig writing with a kingdom come billy batson in a “we’re equals now” sense, especially since clark was never a father figure to him and was more a pseudo-mentor (and that even fell short given the fact he was out of billy’s life for so long and the kid got brainwashed without him). besides that, i want titans!bruce for old man shippy things. i also want jimmy olsen for anything at all, but not the cw’s jimmy. the jimmy who is a photographer and clark’s best pal and also his ex-roommate and--

HONEST NOTE:  i’m sooooooo sloooooooow. i’m also super stubborn about my characterisation of clark, so if characters assume anything of him that’s more fitting to new 52 clark or henry cavill clark or tyler hoechlin clark, i’m going to steer clear. easily. i definitely don’t hate people who enjoy those versions of the character, but i’d like very much for those writing decisions to be kept as far away from me as possible. this is a reeve/routh clark blog, based on the superman anthology (WITHOUT superman returns unless we do an AU), and since that’s written all over my about/rules pages, i seriously hope people don’t mistake it for anything else. also, god, it’s so obvious when people don’t read rules. please read them... they’re there for a reason!!

6. What is the general opinion of your muse’s fandom about them? Do you agree with it?

I mean, I don’t think there’s a fandom for Radonis quite yet, for which, I’ll be real, I’m kind of grateful. The times I went into the tag it was mostly comments about the alien-shaped hat (which, ok, fair enough), and one thing about how his dialogue in the comics was pretty good (which, yeah, I agree). The rest were… two fanfics where he was shipped with Dorian and just, NO, thank you very much (also one where he was pretty much the protagonist of a harlequin novel and that was… mostly hilarious tbh). However, I don’t think my beef with the common portrayal of Tevinter will ever see an end in this lifetime, and that likely will extend to interpretations of Radonis when they’ll start to pop up more frequently. What is nuance, after all.

13. What canon character do you really wish your muse could interact more with?

Literally anyone from Tevinter, really, but also… Flavius. Flavius gets first place. On the other hand, I’d need to know and trust the person who would write him, because the interaction very obviously comes with a gigantic power imbalance and I can’t write something like that with just any rando who comes my way.
