you can still technically choose the male PC but it ends up as just a blacked out version of the trainer sprite. besides, all the dialogue is written assuming that she's the PC.

so, so glad. also it is apparently possible to catch all 386 pokemon available in this gen by yourself?? ?which is pretty much what ive always wanted too!!!!
