Malik would probably take some time to finally say it, but that’s only because he doesn’t fall in love quickly and wouldn’t say it to his partner unless he meant it. That being said, if he’s dating someone, it’s only because he truly cares for them.

For Ryou, saying ‘I love you’ might come surprisingly easy, but only if he’s sure his feelings are well received. Rejection is a big fear of his, so he has to feel comfortable with the other person before he say is it.

The way Bakura kissed him was possessive, it always leaving him with shaky legs and not knowing what to do with himself. 

Ryou takes a hold of his shirt, attempts to kiss back interrupted by a shaky breath. “B-Bakura...” he mutters, the tone of his voice asking him not to stop yet.

He is going to come up to Ryou with a dozen roses and a box of rum chocolates. "Happy Valentine's day."

“Bakura...” Ryou’s in awe, and well too aware he can’t hide the blush slowly creeping up his face. With a small smile, he takes the gifts, pulling the bouquet close to his face so he can smell the flowers. How romantic.

“You didn’t have to...” He says, and yet a happy grin lights up his face. He leans forward, giving Bakura a quick kiss on the cheek. “Thank you so much.”

Ryou startles when he hears the door opening behind him, there’s not enough time for him to wipe his face and pretend like nothing’s happened. He’d just wanted some fresh air- to clear his head. He hadn’t meant to take that long to go back inside. 

He turns around only to see Miguel standing there, looking at him. He avoids his gaze the best he can, feeling anxious as he tries to quell his sobs. What can he even say? “I’m-I’m sorry, I just need a moment...” Ryou sniffles, finally raising a hand to wipe his cheeks. “I’ll go back to the salon in a minute.”
