Once again, Roman was on the outside looking in. The family dinner had gone to shit and here he was in his truck, parked outside his daughter’s place reaching for the flask he kept in his truck. With his hands shaking, he quickly reached for the item after he squeezed his fingers around that steering wheel until his knuckles were white. Roman took a large swig, his body instantly relaxing as the liquor burned down his throat. Alone, he felt utterly alone right now as his three children remained in Layne’s house. Roman took one more glance at the house, before letting out a defeated sigh and placing his foot on the clutch as he put the truck gear.
The thought of going home alone was depressing, he was alone for so long and he was tired of it. No matter how much he said he could handle himself, that he was fine on his own. It was the complete opposite and if he went home he would just spiral out. There was only one other place that felt like home, a place where he felt people truly cared about him. Especially one siren in particular who he was pretty sure he destroyed everything with because of his pride and anger.
Roman ended up at Supernaturals, he usually was not there as a patron but tonight he wanted something to get his mind off his family problems and he requested a private room with Sofia. One of the dancers escorted him inside where he took a seat on the couch as he waited for the siren to step inside. He was nervous, he was sure just the sight of him would cause her to turn around and walk away, but hell he had to try. Because at the end of the day, she was the one he wanted to go home with. The one he wanted to fall asleep with. And she was the one person outside of Bear and Rick that didn’t want to see him dead…at least he hoped that sentiment was still there.
“Hey you,” he softly said as his eyes landed on her coming inside.
