Gotham University. 9.02 am.

>. Even when before shit the fan, Bianca absolutely loathed public speaking. Even the shared open space like the University was absolutely terrible; because there was always eyes around to judge and observe.

Luckily for her, she didn't need to be herself when she entered the university this time around. Wearing a wig and glasses helped to assure her anonymous identity as a common college-goer, and due to her shorter height without heels, she barely resembled herself at all.

Exactly what she needed to blend in.

GrandTech's social media had been posting about their upcoming seminar at Gotham Uni for weeks now --- practically an open invite to be fucked around with. In her opinion, the corporation could use a little public humiliation for once.

As Bianca stepped into her shoes as a student, she made a beeline to the big auditorium on campus. Caring little about other's space when she elbowed her way through the big crowd outside -- only so she could get the best seat in the house to see GrandTech tormented.

Little did she realize, she would see another familiar face there.

"...No way," She whispered in disbelief. "---No fucking way." .<

First sign. Binary wanted to call. And she hated calling. During all these years working together, she had accepted only a handful of calls from them -- but had never, ever initiated first contact. So clearly; something was wrong.

Second sign. By the time that they had hung up, it was as if the pain in his leg had disappeared all together. While the bullet that had pierced him days prior had gone straight through, a hole like that was never easy to heal. It was bound to bite them in the ass later once they started moving.

Despite both of the red flags being waved left and right -- Harvey still left his safehouse. Brought Bob along to drive while he sat in the back -- debating what to say or do once they arrived at the bloody scene their henchwoman had described during their call.

You're going to kill him, right?

Harvey had said yes - but the unspoken law of the coin hung over their head like it always did.

Good. I shouldn't have to remind you what he did. To all of us.

But it wasn't that easy. Never had been.

Their steps echoed in the alleyway as they stepped up into the aftermath of the fight between Scarecrow and Cobblepot's people -- turning up their nose at the chaotic dissaray of blood, glass and...

Harvey's body nearly froze at the sight of Crane's bloodied body -- drawing their gun slowly out of the holster around his chest. As cautiously as they could muster, they walked up and kneeled down -- pressing two fingers up to where his pulse would be. ---

"...Fuck."

"-- He's alive."

"You don't say, college boy.".~

+. The rain had stopped by the time that he parked the ambulance amidst the other flashing blue-red lights -- giving little time to get acquainted with the other first-responders called to the scene.

A silent pressure of moving quickly was enough to help him ignore the dull pain surging through the joints as he pulled his act together -- there was someone out there that needed his help more than Chiaki needed a break.

The very moment the paramedic stepped out to the scene, the overwhelming smell of wet asphalt and gasoline hung over the air like a veil. With his tools and gear in hand, Chiaki elbowed through the crowd of people that had begun gathering around the area of the accident.

Indeed, there it was. A turned-over, broken motorcycle, an injured man on the ground -- who appeared conscious. For now. And while another man was trying to haul him up, Chiaki was quick to order him back down.

"Please -- Step back. We can take care of this from here."

A necessary evil to push curious bystanders away -- but how else would he be able to work in peace? His black orbs traveled back to the injured man in question. Stepping a little closer, about to introduce himself --- when suddenly...Chiaki recognized him.

"...D-Dr. Robinavitch ---?" .+

"alright, i think ... this is yours? no, no, this is yours." a quick switcheroo of the trays before them put their ordered entrees in the right position. emile had volunteered to get their orders from the pick-up area and bring them out to the patio they had chosen to sit at, and he made sure to be extra careful as to not accidentally drop anything. "there we go! that looks right. good thing i'm not a server; i don't think i could ever do what they do." he chuckled, the off-handed remark a fleeting thought that seemed to fit the lighthearted mood.
