Doing some planning for the future of Forget Me Not
it’s funny bc i don’t think anyone’s ever watched season 1 of yellowjackets, watched Natalie struggle to really know if she should trust Misty or not and wondered why she struggles so much. It’s Misty, of course she doesn’t trust her. we’ve seen all the crazy shit she does, some of which Nat is aware of, and Misty can’t hide her true nature very well, why should Nat trust her?
and then, with season 3, it’s like OH! she knows. she knows that Misty destroyed the ‘transponder’. she knows better than anyone, really, just how far Misty’s desires to be needed, wanted and a part of the group will take her. especially when it’s met with how impulsive she is because she doesn’t think about the consequences of what she’s doing might be. Misty is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants, it doesn’t matter who the fuck she hurts. it’s a gamble if she’ll even feel guilty about it. Nat should more than just struggle to trust her, she should hate her. and yet, Natalie is Natalie and Misty is Misty. Misty helps her out sometimes and she gets really excited when Nat shows up places and she does look really pretty that time they needed her to help hide a body. so. you know.
You know I love them when my eye contact hating autistic ass spent every moment I could staring at their eyes and face to etch their every line and speck of colour into my mind, so even if I'm normally face blind I could remember what their smile looks like once we're apart again
Yuuji just went okay bye I need to find my boyfriend 🏃🏼♂️
I wonder if that's partly the reason people like reed900 so much
Those two being kinda mean and acting like assholes is like the core of their dynamics. It's not too sweet to get nauseous from it. People hate perfect characters and perfectly healthy relationships in stories. There must be some spice to it to be entertaining. And sure these two are spicy and also bitter, and sour. Those being sweet to each other is like a reward, a desert of some sort, but not the main course.
Not me having motivation to write thousands of words for a fanfiction but zero for the book I’ve wanted to write for five months!
