Since the Chroma Conclave finished is time to go on new adventures with a new MPC (most playable character). Taryon Darrington (along with his trusted "servant" Doty) will join Vox Machina team in their next journey and it's going to be fun, fun, fun. Taryon is voiced by Sam Riegel.

Vex: I know you’re deflecting by making jokes about how hot you are. Taryon: It’s not a joke. Taryon: *sniffles* Taryon: I’m a legit snack.

While not part of the main cast or travelling with the group, Taryon and Xander are the main supporters of the group. They've been together for many many centuries, and are the adoptive parents of Tara and Ilaria, who are the two youngest of their litter.

Taryon Darrington sat there explaining how he just saved the family from mountainous debt and got to keep the house and all their possessions as well as another property and his dad is just staring at him like

tary telling his father “I didn’t just dilly dally around the world having fun. I was learning about the world and about life and about family. I was learning from these fine people what it means to really be a family and care about each other. I learned from grog and vax what it means to be a man, and to be a father. I learned from pike what it means to be a caring mother. I learned from keyleth what a real sister is like, one who loves you and cares for you.” (bonus: keyleth smiling as he says so) “I learned from vex what a best friend is like. these are things that you never gave us growing up. I even learned from percival… the type of man I would want to marry one day.” (bonus: vex straightening with pride as he says so) “and we never got that at home.” 🙌

Sylas: I’ve hated Percy and Vex since they killed Delilah, and then I saw that engagment announcment in the paper.

Tary: But you could have figured out where the wedding was even without that, right?

Sylas: No, I was trying. I had totally given up, really.

Tary: Oh, gods, what have I done?
