the patron saint of those who died to be like you. maybe you died to be like them too: but at the end of it, you weren't like them. patron saint of tragedy. saint of saints. it's you who holds the hands of the holy dead, and you who has to answer: what do they do if they regretted it?

patron saint of frameworks. of structures. of solidity. patron saint of things that break. patron saint of things that are left behind. the bones survive long after the body, the building: what is there left for them, when the rest has gone? what do bones do, with nothing to hold around them? who holds the bones?

ace .... patron saint of houses.

but not of homes. only the shells of what keeps us enclosed. houses can be decorated or well-built or crumbling or haunted but only a home can truly be warm; you are the patron saint of that lack.

i thought up something super ridiculous but. i'm going with modern verse ace on this. not sure if anyone remembers the chubby bunny challenge, but for those that don't, it was a challenge going around on youtube where you would stick a marshmallow in your mouth one by one and after putting each one in, you would say 'chubby bunny' until you couldn't fit anymore in your mouth. so, i'm going to say the useless fact ace knows is how many marshmallows fit in his, sabo's and luffy's mouth.

ace's smile always has a cheekiness / hint of mischief to it. he has that rascal charm even when he's being well mannered and polite. while he has that wide, brighter than the sun smile in his arsenal, the smile that is so similar to luffy's. or the troublemaker smirk that he and sabo mirrored off each other. there's something about his smile in particular that is charming in the way that you know if he asked you to get into trouble with him, you'd just have to say yes.

select muses ... re. taste in chocolates.

iselda ... prefers dark chocolate with nuts. she also really lives the boozy type of chocolate where its flavored with rum or bourbon. but, she doesn't eat it too often.

viola ... prefers dark chocolate as well, often paired with raspberry. she likes fruit + chocolate, and i think she'd like orange and chocolate too.

ace ... likes the chili and chocolate pairing. the spicy little kick is suited to his palate. he also loves drinking champurrado, likes to taste the masa in it.
