     He doesn’t expressly need to be patched up, but Bishop likes the idea of it anyway, and he hasn’t much spoken to Kennedy yet. It’s a nice excuse. He watches their hair falling over their shoulder when they move and says, absently, “First or last?” A pause. “Your name. It could be either.”
