Dynamics That I’d Like To Explore
Professional Friendships / Acquaintances - with other Champions, League Trainers, Frontier Brains, etc. (It’s worth nothing that she does her research so she’s usually up to date on who the League-affiliated trainers are in each region). It would be neat to figure out what the different regions can learn from each other. If our muses are both part of the Unova League, I’d love to explore their dynamic (which will be based on Rosa’s view of them before she became champion, and which can definitely change based on present interactions). Also, any muses that are in the show business, as she is a famous actress (and I don’t get to do enough with that). Maybe our muses are playing parts in the same movie or play? Or maybe your muse is into contests (of which Rosa knows next to NOTHING about) and they want to show Rosa the ropes?
Recognition - Rosa has plenty of star power in Unova due to her work with Pokéstar Studios and her status as Champion. Her movies are broadcast in other regions as well, so it’s entirely possible for a non-Unovan muse to recognize her just from seeing her on the silver screen. I’m open to her meeting both fans and critics alike.
Rivalries - with other trainers of equal caliber. The other muse doesn’t need to be a Champion-level trainer for this dynamic to exist. There are plenty of powerful trainers out there that just don’t bother with League challenges and Rosa would be excited to come across them.
Former Plasma ties - whether that be former grunts that have had a change of heart like her or grunts that stuck to it and followed Ghetsis to Neo Plasma, relationships of this nature can be either friendly or antagonistic. Additionally, she holds great respect for some former Plasma members (such as sage Rood, Anthea, Concordia, and N) and disdain for others (like Zinzolin), as well as fear of the Shadow Triad and Ghetsis himself.
Antagonistic - this goes hand in hand with the second half of the above, but it can obviously extend to other villain muses (though she would only know that villain muses outside of Unova are villains if it’s something that the mun agrees would have been all over the news at the point in time that interactions occur). Her views of Interpol are also swayed toward the negative, based on her past experiences with Agent Hale Foster and her mother being placed under house arrest briefly during the events of B2W2. Additionally, she has pissed off many a pokémon poacher in Unova due to her efforts to eradicate them from her region (which is actually important to an upcoming plot I have planned out for her).
Found family - her own blood family isn’t very big (reserved mostly to her mother and some family in Lentimas Town; her father is back in PokéSpain) so I love the idea of her coming to love her friends like family
Simple friendships - maybe both our muses are into some sort of common hobby or enjoy the same type of music / movies or maybe they just like to get together to gossip or enjoy dessert together, lots of slice of life stuff.
Romantic relationships are not completely off the table but they require an extra layer of development and comfort between Rosa and other muses (and good/regular communication between myself and other muns).
Places Where Rosa Can Be Found*
Anywhere around Unova - she doesn’t spend all her time in the League. She constantly bounces between the preservations she established (White Forest and Icirrus), the Bring Us Together Foundation she established to help return Plasma-stolen pokémon to their previous owners (Driftveil), and Pokéstar Studios (Virbank). Her primary (but not public-known) residence is in Village Bridge and her secondary (but officially known) residence is in Nimbasa. Sometimes she goes as far as the Trainer’s School (Aspertia) to talk to younger would-be trainers and tends to take some of Cheren’s classes to capture their first pokémon in Floccessy.
Hoenn - she has to travel to Hoenn occasionally for the hot springs to ease the lingering pain from Kyurem’s unmelting ice-induced wounds. She loves to explore the Hoenn wilderness, though… and Meteor Falls is one of her favorite places ever.
Kalos - she spent some time training in Kalos prior to challenging the Unova E4 and Iris. She also occasionally travels for film-related business or gets dragged along to Lumiose by Blue ( @evoblue ) on shopping trips.
Galar - after a few years of championship (and an unwanted encounter with an obsessed fan that COULD have been bad), she takes a sabbatical and decides to disappear from the grid. She travels to Galar to train and explore the area, and also to spectate on the gym challenge.
*While Rosa has never officially been to Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, or Alola, she is open to visiting any of these regions. Johto in particular calls her interest due to the rich history and lore behind all the legendaries (as history and mythology were part of her studies while growing up).
Timelines
For the most part, Rosa’s threads will happen in the post B2W2 timeline / during her time as Champion. If you have a Unovan muse and are interested in writing something taking place during the plot of B2W2, I am open to discussion!
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓'𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄 . as in i quite like what was going on with the french version for castle vibe . the castle itself is enchanted , even beyond the people who live within it . a sentient being in its own right , once the home of a grand sorcerer before she vanished & it was mysteriously brought to the ownership of the house bourbon . filled with great beauty , even the enchantress’ magic could not overpower what was there already ( as the grand sorcerer who once lived there had , perhaps , learned of the knowledge of all things & hers was a magic that could not be undone ) .
ask of the castle , & it will come to be . it is how food arrives , or cloth , or books . or tools to use in the garden .
adam did not know to ask the castle for the things he believed he needed , & even if he had done so , it would not have granted them , for he did not truly need them & the grand sorcerer’s magic only allowed that which was truly needed to be spoken into existence . eventually , adam figured this out . since there were no tailors , he would as the castle for clothes that would fit his new body . the clothes would be miraculously laid out on his bed .
adam was the one tending to the garden & the roses that grew there , & often he would ask for tools to do so , since the old ones had vanished & they would be there leaning against a pillar for him . needless to say , it was still VERY UNSETTLING .
the castle can seem to change its layout as a self defense mechanism & only those who are meant to find certain places will . belle found her way to adam’s room because the castle willed it . even gaston found his way because the conditions of the curse now required incentive —
it could be said that the castle altered the curse , although no one knew ( & those who knew did not speak of it , as is the nature of a curse ) & adam’s fate was no longer tied to the rose , but to love . the last petal fell before belle said she loved him , & he would not have changed back if those words were not true & from the deepest parts of her heart & soul . adam no longer needed to be alive for the curse to break , as he was most certainly dead when the words were spoken . it was the castle that brought adam back to life , because such sorrow was not meant to exist there . already , loved ones had died there & if he had not come back to life , the grand magic would’ve crumbled with the weight of that sorrow .
half-elf bigender bard, college of lore. mostly plays lute or ocarina. important features: very long prominent nose with a hooked tip and a tall bridge (think connie from steven universe?), sleepy heavy-lidded eyes, very very long eyelashes, dark circles under eyes, pointy ears, dark eyebrows, facial expression tends to range from goofy to friendly to smarmy. cheeks & nose permanently flushed. clothes are all shitty and patched up. hat optional; has a big bite taken out of the brim and a white feather in the cap. default outfit is the one with the orange-yellow bg but they have alternate outfits in the first picture.
androgynous even by elf standards where other elves like squint at them like “are u a teenage boy or a young woman” and theyre like LEAVE ME ALONE GOD!!!!!!!!
𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐑 . a mysterious cat that lives in the beast’s castle . she may have lived there far before him , or perhaps she arrived after the curse , but most certainly she is a grand sorcerer . now , adam may not know much about magic , but he did grasp the importance of names ( & as he stayed under the curse , he responded to ‘ beast ’ , which was his name , rather than adam — man — for he was no longer a man ) . he named fourpaws a humble name , fearing that should he give her something as grand as she deserved , some horrible thing would befall her or perhaps him , or alter the curse laid by the enchantress .
fourpaws appears where she wishes , when she wishes . she is never seen in any form other than that of a cat , but cats do have a great deal of magic so it certainly doesn’t negate her status as a grand sorcerer . she remained in the castle after the curse was lifted as well .
Spideydevil Weekend 2026 is a three-day event about the relationship (romantic or otherwise) between Marvel characters Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Matt Murdock/Daredevil.
What's the timeline?
This event will take place between Friday, January 23 and Sunday, January 25 of 2026. Every day of the event will have three sets of prompts (three AUs, three tropes, and a quote (from the comics)), as well as a "free space".
Are there any work requirements?
This is meant to be a low pressure event. You are welcome to mix and match different days' prompts, or make liberal use of the "free space" prompts.
There is not a minimum word count or any other kind of requirements. All types of fanworks are allowed.
All Marvel universes and media adaptations are more than welcome!
But what are the free space prompts?
The short answer is that they can be whatever you want.
A slightly longer answer: if you don't like any of the prompts, or you don't find them too inspiring at the moment, you can use your own "prompts" (an AU or a trope you enjoy, such as Pacific Rim or friends to lovers, for instance) instead.
How can I share my work?
All platforms are accepted. If you are planning to share your work on Tumblr and you'd like the event mod(s) to share your work in this blog, please remember to mention this tumblr (@spideydevil-events) whenever you post your fanwork, and/or tag the post as spideydevil weekend 2026.
You can also post your fanwork to the AO3 Collection. The collection will remain open after the end of the event. Late submissions will be accepted.
Rules
Behave. Any kind of harassment, abuse or discriminatory behavior against other fans for any reason whatsoever will not be tolerated. It will result in your immediate and permanent ban from this event, as well as from any future events.
No character bashing of Matt and/or Peter. This event is meant to celebrate the (at times, very complicated and contentious) relationship between these two characters. This is a relatively small corner of the fandom, and there are not a lot of us: let's be respectful and kind to each other.
*Spite fanworks against Marvel Comics/the MCU/etc in general, or against specific runs (e.g. One More Day) are allowed; spite fanworks or bashing against specific people (writers, artists, actors, other fans) are not allowed.
