i imagine jon’s voice to be deep and soft, a sound which comes from the depths of his chest rather than his throat. to some he might sound snobbish but, when getting to know him better or, at the very least, after listening to him talk for long periods of time, mr. harker sounds like someone who ought to cry easily. it is as if his voice originates from a place of feeling, not from the lungs but from the heart. a sound of someone who is in control but is only being held by the thinest of strings.
