the number of times i watched dirty dancing havana nights after it came out is truly embarrassing.
I wasn’t allowed to see it when it came out because the only PG-13 movie I was allowed to see before I turned 18 and moved out of the house was Titanic, which to this day my mother blames for anything I do that she doesn’t like.
Yeah, mom, I’m bad at financial planning because I saw Kate Winslet’s hand on the foggy Renault window when I was eleven.
That said, if I HAD seen Havana Nights when it came out, Tiny Diego Luna would have been on absolutely all of my notebooks and as a pinup in my locker, because he is the sort of ethereally gentle and beautiful man who does not exist actually IRL and is thus pretty safe (if INFURIATINGLY CONFUSING) to like as a lesbian. And even more so in Havana Nights.
So ethereally soft and pretty.
i was told by SOMEONE aka @k8monster that smol diego in dirty dancing: havana nights would cheer me up BUT IT’S JUST SO SECONDHAND AWKWARD
