Zoë Charteux

I love all my characters dearly, but there has always been something about Zoë that makes her a bit more lovable. I suppose it comes down to the fact that she’s very much the opposite of me, personality wise and all that.

In short, Zoë is someone who is extremely outgoing, loud, loves to be in the center of attention and is pretty much the delinquent. She’s also quite sex-positive and sometimes... she talks maybe a little too loudly of her “experiences”.

Her story is basically that she’s been shunned away by people who are supposed to love her. Her parents didn’t really care about taking care of her, and since they were business people with way too much money, they just paid other people to do their work. It spiraled down to Zoë becoming more independent as she grew older, but also did things for the sake of getting attention. Sometimes the fine line between self-care and self-harm was blurred and she’d involve herself with people and things that never meant her any good. Love was all she wanted, but it was apparently hard to come by.

Zoë is probably one of the few characters from my story who has gone through the least amount of changes, with her tattoos probably being the ones changing the most because I can never make up my mind how they’d look. Most of these I’ve drawn in this sheet are heavily inspired/traced from various tattoos I found. Either way, Zoë is definitely the one who loves some good old school tattoos.

It has taken me years to figure out what Zoë’s special powers are. Eventually I settled with making her have keen eyeshight, making her able to see a lot better than others, but also make her really good at hitting her targets, whether she is using a gun or just a random pen. She also knows some hand-to-hand combat, but her strenght lies in supporting others or staying far from battle and take out her targets at a safe distance.

Her agent suit has gone through some changes. In the ye olde days she had some... really ugly stuff. I choose to let her stand out from her fellow friends by giving her just a skintight suit and all the tools and bags she need to carry everything she needs for a good snipin’. She also uses a special helmet/visor to both protect her eyes and also further enhance her sight and ability. The cape/showl also has a hoodie and can be used to cover her entire body to sort of camouflage her in darker places.

Top 5 things you would have changed with the Glee series finale.

Oy, only five? Lol

1. I’d give it two hours so it’d have time to breathe - 2009 should have been its own week, and DCT gotten a two hour slot so to fit in all the things that they didn’t put in.

2. I’d restructure the whole thing. I think the episode is a mess of scenes that are just kind of thrown together. You can sort of see where there’s this loose theme of people leaving and flashforwards. They should have structured it more like Parks and Rec - which took a character in each segment, showed them ‘leaving’, then flashforward to see how their lives turned out. This would have worked really, really well.

3. Cut some of the unnecessary stuff - I mean did we really need another Nationals sequence at the beginning of the film? Did we really need Sue’s interview (again) with Geraldo? I feel like this time would have been better spent on closing up more people’s stories.

4. Add in a bunch of the stuff they cut out -- such as the Hummelberry stuff (they don’t get closure - weird huh?), a plot line with Coach Beiste, stuff that set up a Samcedes reunion, and Kurt and Blaine actually getting to a) talk to each other and b) talk about their upcoming child.

5. Kurt and Blaine’s final duet should have been with their child. (Or Blaine’s classroom - something a little more personal, even if I get why they did it this way.)

Bonus 6. Rachel singing This Time should have been over a montage of what everyone was doing -- or everyone leaving for where they were supposed to be in life. I get that for probably money purposes it was easier just to show Lea in the classrooms (and yeah, yeah, it’s a goodbye to McKinley) but the song is so beautiful, and she does so well, that I feel like it’s a waste having nothing visually interesting going on for five minutes.

Kingdom Hearts (3) AU where everything is the same except instead of having a monster form in the Monsters Inc World, Sora instead is turned into a child a bit older than Boo’s age, so maybe 6 or 7 years old.

Donald and Goofy are still in their monster disguises and are in charge of protecting bby Sora, who despite his appearance, is still very capable of absolutely destroying you in combat, though that doesn’t stop them from freaking out anytime Sora wanders away, because he’s barely taller than Donald at this age and omigod he’s so small, how can he even pick up his keyblade.

Also because currently he’s a human in a monster world and that’s definitely going to cause some trouble.

Mike, Sully, Donald and Goofy bond over the heart attacks their kids have given them.

It’s only Sora’s outward appearance that has changed; he’s a teen in a little kid’s body. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t plagued by “childish” fears, such as fear of the dark (fear of the darkness).

His thinking as a young child and as his normal age are constantly at war with each other; overactive imagination/hyperactivity .vs. rational thought. He’s a pendulum swinging back and forth between the ages.

Sora’s child form in the Monster’s Inc World is a reminder of how young Sora still actually is - he’s barely a legal adult (most say he’s around late 16 in KH3) - and yet he’s been charged with saving the worlds from darkness.
